House near the lake and at the foot of the mountains

Our "house of happiness," as we like to call it, is ready to welcome you so you too can spend wonderful moments here! From a practical point of view, the house is spacious and bright. The ground floor consists of a large open-plan room combining the kitchen, dining room, and living room. The kitchen is fully equipped (including a Thermomix!). The table can seat 6, or even 8 people. There is also a pantry and a toilet. The ground floor comprises three bedrooms of approximately 15m² each, with a double bed (and some games in the children's room). The fourth bedroom is the master bedroom, with a double bed and an en-suite shower room with a shower, toilet, and lake view. The other three bedrooms share a bathroom with a bath, shower, and toilet. Our cosy nest is situated on an 1100m² plot. We have a carport for two vehicles, and still plenty of space in the gravel courtyard. The garden is fully fenced. There's a vegetable patch, a few fruit and ornamental trees (still young but growing a little more each day), and plenty to keep the little ones entertained: a playhouse, two swings, a slide, and a sandpit! The 50m² outdoor terrace is accessed through a large bay window. A gas barbecue is at your disposal. You can enjoy an aperitif in the small garden lounge before moving to the shade of the bioclimatic pergola for your meal. The ideal spot to fully enjoy the terrace, sheltering from the sun or extending your evenings outdoors when the weather turns cooler! It seems important to mention that we have a cat, Paillette, who will need some care. Nothing too demanding, just provide her with water and food! Although a bit wild, she doesn't mind a few head scratches! The village is full of charm, situated on the lakefront with many shops nearby. Just 10 minutes from Thonon and 20 minutes from Evian, it's a peaceful yet convenient base for numerous activities. You can explore the countless hiking trails in the surrounding area, enjoy refreshing swims and fun activities (paddleboarding, sailing) in the lake, which is only a 5-minute walk away, try your hand at thrilling activities (rafting, treetop adventure courses, paragliding...), or simply relax at the thermal baths. And if you prefer city life, Geneva (45 minutes), Annecy (1 hour), or Lausanne (with a boat trip across the lake) will surely appeal to you.
