Visit the old town of Ronald, established in the late 1880's just after No. 3 coal mine opened. Minutes away from quaint Roslyn/Cle Elum, plus all the areas recreational activities, such as hiking, fishing, snow sports and more. This tiny house has all the cozy amenities that you will need. The open floor plan has the LR, kitchen and dining area all in the main room. The primary bedroom has a small storage loft or could be a fort/sleep area for a child. Has a twin mattress. The loft ladder pulls out for use & goes up against the wall, out of the way, when not in use. The upstairs bedroom is accessed via a pull down "ladder" in the hallway. This ladder holds a total weight of 250 pounds. The upstairs has a desk for work, and is quite roomy except for the A-frame ceiling. Watch your head in some spots! You can "gently" close the ladder to keep heat focused to the lower level in winter. There is under cabinet lighting for the tiny kitchen & hallway shelf. There are mood setting candles above the kitchen counter. Lighting can be accessed with the remotes. Please turn (both) off when not in use to save batteries. There is a BBQ & currently 2 bikes in the shed. The washer/dryer is in the hallway and bathroom is at the end of the hall. Several upgrades have been made, while keeping the charm of old. There is a newer refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, toaster, iron, etc. You can still imagine how miners lived back in the day. There is a good sized fenced front yard. But do keep an eye on your pets as cars do go by in the street. The speed limit is 25 MPH. Ronald is so close to the woods, there has been deer and bear sightings in town. Deer & a bear have hopped the fence to eat plums, (during plum season). A trail just minutes walking distance, around the back of the fire station is a great place to ride your bikes, take your dog for a walk & can take you past Roslyn to Cle Elum! Watch out for loose neighboring dogs. Speelyi Beach is also just minutes away by car, towards Old #3. Drive right onto the beach for parking! Easy to find with GPS Maps. (See captions under photos). Walk in the alley, through the back gate, to old #3 Bar & Grill.
Kitchen is fully stocked, with everything you need. The toaster, toaster oven and microwave are in the hall. There is a start up supply of TP, paper towels, trash bags, coffee, filters etc. For your coffee there is a grinder for whole beans, a French press and a coffee maker. Small town grocery in each town or a Safeway in Cle Elum is a great way to stock up on essentials. We don't always have a way to keep coffee stocked between guests.

The stay was nice, such a lovely home! Diana was easy to work with and very communicative. The home and host are super pet friendly, and the place is absolutely charming. A very strong "recommend" from us!
Perfect little spot for a quick weekend getaway for my partner and I. Warm, clean, comfortable, and a beautiful location, especially this fall-color time of year.
Property contact was very accessible, helpful, and welcoming.
Thank you!
We had a great stay. I had to work all day so didn't get to enjoy the great outdoors as much as we would have liked - but that being said, the WiFi worked great. After work, we took our dog and walked the old miners trail down to Roslyn and enjoyed the restaurants that had outdoor seating. We also drove a short distance to a beautiful lake. The home in a quiet neighborhood although it is a busy street. It was very well stock with all essentials and more. The bed was very comfortable. Our only concern was that the portable AC unit did not cool the house enough for us to be comfortable, but maybe we are just not accustomed to the heat. It's a great place to stay. Diana is a great host and accommodated our stay on short notice.

Thanks for the nice review! I love hearing about activities that guests are doing! All the way to Roslyn on the trail! Yay!
It can get hot in the afternoon there. The air machine is not quite sufficient, but there are other tips I can give guests to help cool it down. There is a fan that blows cool air in from under the house, but you may not have noticed the switch! That's 1 tip! 😊 The front yard cools off first & it's a nice place to hang out, bbq, play corn hole etc.
I hope you visit again sometime!
We enjoyed our 3 night stay here. Owner a dream to work with, easy check in. We stopped in Cle Elum Safeway so we could enjoy barbecuing. The kitchen is well stocked and just the cutest quiet, backyard, the party lights are on a timer ❤️. House is well organized and everything easy to find. It does get warm late afternoon but nothing to deter booking. We did not travel with pets but the backyard and supplies are a great set up. Roslyn has a walking tour we enjoyed and we hiked and swam in Lake Easton State Park. I feel the outside picture of the house needs updating. Just so darn cute!!
I had a real good time , A cute little place to go for the weekend I would stay here again
It was A great place for a Girls weekend out

I am a local real estate broker in WA state. I have managed, rented, flipped, staged & worked with buyers & sellers for over the last 15 years. I work with buyers & sellers all over the PNW. I would love to show you how to manage your STR property or help you get it ready for your STR platform. I can help with the details - furnishings, marketing & building your listing. I have experience with staging properties and can help from step A to Z to get your property ready to list or rent.
Why they chose this property
The neighborhood is small & rural. Generally peaceful & quiet. Some street noise. My house faces a lot, not the street & the plum tree provides some privacy.
What makes this property unique
I purchased this property because of it's unique charm. Some of the other homes I looked at had been completely remodeled or complete disasters! I didn't need anything large, just a place to enjoy, not far from home. I'm hoping to continue to remodel & update as long as I can keep it cozy at the same time. I've been to the site ruins of foundations where other homes had been & since torn down and some other historical buildings in town. It has such a sense of history and imagination of what it must have been like. The town is so small that these can be discovered with just a bit of exploring.
