We had a wonderful stay! The house was spotless, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. It’s in a perfect location in Parke County—just minutes from Turkey Run State Park, great kayaking, and charming antique shops. The amenities made our stay even better, and it was a great place to relax after a day of exploring. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The driveways to this property are very steep & hard to get into

Thanks for the kind review. The driveways are a little steep but any vehicle should be able to navigate them. I do recommend 4 wheel drive for anyone staying over winter in case of snow.

The house was perfect for what we needed. We spent a weekend with family and did some fun crafts. Our only problem, and we handle it just fine, was that it might have been nice had there been railings to get up those four steps. It was a little challenging for older ladies that were physically challenged, and were trying to haul in items. But very nice home. Thank you!

The is a beautiful home and property right around the corner from Turkey Run SP, up the road from a covered bridge and not far from Shades SP. The clean house is spacious yet cozy with great areas to relax and have fun. The host, Clint, goes above and beyond to make sure the rental process is easy and offers many unexpected extras, including a pass to get into the state parks. Clint also provided lots of great information on the area and responded to questions very quickly. If we ever return to the area, the Sugar Creek Escape would be our choice again!

Beautiful property minutes from Turkey Run

We spent 3 nights at this lovely, well maintained property with our adult kids and 1-year old granddaughter. It was a perfect place for sharing meals and relaxing by the fire pit after hiking the trails at Turkey Run.
