You will vacation in tranquil elegance with sparkling quartz countertop, brand new appliances, turquoise blue touches, beautiful bright bathrooms and wood plank porcelain flooring throughout the unit. The primary bedroom offers a comfy king bed, TV and your private bathroom. The guest bedroom offers 2 twin beds and TV. The owner has provided everything needed to make this the perfect getaway with 3 flat screen Smart TVs, high speed Wi-Fi and beach equipment.
For an extra bonus, 4 bikes are included with this unit. Enjoy a leisurely ride along the 25 miles of bike paths. Head to the Lighthouse or take a stroll through the Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge to catch a glimpse of one of the Sanibel's 245 bird species.
For your added convenience the owner provides access to their storage locker which is stocked with beach chairs, a large umbrella and beach cart to easily transport everything to the beach. The kitchen is well-stocked for preparing meals and is complete with both a Mr. Coffee maker and a Keurig. This condo is a dog-friendly (under 25 pounds and 1 dog per unit) with a non-refundable fee.
Loggerhead Cay complex amenities include: a heated pool, gas grills, pickleball/tennis courts, shell washing station, shuffleboard and direct gulf access.

Good property for a week long stay, especially if you're eating out as the kitchen isn't really setup for cooking unless you buy everything.That said, it's a nice spot, great beach, and on the list of properties we'd look at revisiting (which only 1/4-1/3 meet that criterion).Biking is the way to go if on the island. The provided bikes work in a pinch but I'd recommend others if you're going to be doing a lot of biking. 5 out of 5 overall - would recommend.
We were delighted with our stay. The condo was beautiful- nicely furnished and well-equipped. It had beautiful views and was convenient to both the pool and the beach.
We LOVED this property! It was the perfect distance from the beach and the pool, and offered great access to Sanibel. The property was extremely clean and well-maintained, we didn't have any maintenance nits at all like those that often come up in rentals. The beds were comfortable and we just had a great stay :)
It was great getting back to the island after Covid and Hurricane Ian. The unit was everything advertised; the view, the furnishings and the location. Loggerhead Cay is a great resort and can not wait to come back. Would rent this unit again in heartbeat!
Jims condo is brand new - comfortable beds, all new appliances and right on the beach. We enjoyed the bikes as Sanibel has great trails. Also the beach chairs were all new and great for watching the sunset. Sanibel is rebuilding which is great to see! We will be back.
The view and breeze were WONDERFUL! You could sit on the patio all day long. You could hear the waves from the patio. It was very relaxing to sit and watch and feel the ocean waves all day long.

This beach rental is good for a family trip. Well equipped. Our recommendation would be updating some well used items and to communicate any scheduled maintenance with renters so they are not surprised when someone shows up during the vacation and requests entry to the property.

Both bathrooms were completely updated 2 years ago with granite counter tops, new sink, new tile and fixtures. I replaced the tile through out with tile planks that look like hardwood floors at the same time. The complex sprays to prevent bugs periodically and I have no control over their schedule and are in and out usually within minutes. I would encourage you to read the 25 previous "5 Star" reviews over the last 18 months.
What a Great Condo. It is a fantastic location and was even better than advertised. Sanibel is quickly on its way back, and it felt wonderful to be back there on vacation and only 40 Yards from the Beach.
I could live in this Condo full-time. It was clean, nicely decorated, and had all the amenities needed for Beach Days. I absolutely loved it. Loggerhead Cay is a great complex. Our Family can't wait to return.
From the minute I booked, Jim called within 5 minutes to acquaint me even further about his property and responded quickly to any questions or issues. We were there after the 3rd hurricane, so you can imagine the questions. Sanibel is still beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend
Property was clean and condo was brand new witb everything we needed. Well equipped and comfy and a beach wagon with 6 chairs. We got a lot of use out of the bikes. There is a lot of construction traffic so biking to dinner was the best idea. Loved this place and would definately stay again, host was more than helpful and very responsive. Perfect stay

Excellent apartment, and Loggerhead is great overall. Need clean, well-appointed. We didn’t need to have brought all our beach equipment. The unit has plenty, as well as beach towels. Good to know for the future. Unit is close to beach as well.
Everything about this rental was wonderful! The condo is beautiful and tastefully decorated but still very cozy, Very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Spotlessly clean! Perfect location, only steps away from the beach and the wonderful pool. The owner was super friendly and very helpful, giving us useful information about the condo, activities on the island and restaurant recommendations. I liked that he checked in with us to make sure all was well and let us know we could contact him at any time if we had any questions or problems.
We are working on dates for next year and looking forward to another wonderful stay in this condo!

Condo on Beach
Location was good. Noise/Construction was horrible. Also we were not informed of the construction going on. We had to check in late because cleaning crew wasn't done on time. Infested with Roaches. All they could say was sorry and that roaches are normal on the Island. Well we've been coming to Sanibel for 15 years and never once had a roach in our condo. Needless to say we will not return to this property.

I have owned on Sanibel Island for 40 years and Christy was by far my worst guest. It's interesting that Christy didn't mention in her review that I refunded her $500 for her inconvenience. I thought that she was happy with that. I consulted the President of the association when I heard that there was going to be construction and he told me that the construction wasn't going to be on my floor and he didn't think that it would be an issue.. I would encourage anyone to read my over 100 reviews, the vast majority are "5 Star" reviews. Jim
