Nice enough, great value, water issue while we were there that Joe and the water company handled quickly.

Thanks for handling the water leak issue. I appreciate your going under my deck to fix this. It would have taken a lot more time if I had driven up from the valley to take care of it.
My husband, 4 month old, 2 small dogs and I had a nice stay. The cabin is small and homey, just what we needed. The stairs leading up to the second floor are very steep, just be cautious. We enjoyed our trip!
This is my 2nd visit. This cabin is perfect! Centrally located for where I wanted to go. Fully equipped, clean, safe, and in a great neighborhood. Almost like being at home.
The cabin had everything we needed (we cooked a lot), including a turntable and great albums. The neighbors we met were super friendly. All in all a great location from which to explore the Mogollon Rim. The local Mexican restaurant (Casa Ramos) was excellent. Perfect place to escape the Tucson heat.

Great escape in the woods!! The check in was incredibly easy and the place was very cozy. I highly recommend this perfect, dog friendly, place to visit for the weekend or longer. We spent most of our time in the massive porch and were able to take in all the sights. The kitchen is one of the most equipped. It has all your pots, pans, and baking needs. The neighborhood was safe, friendly and overall great for walks with the pup.
While the sign out front says "Nut N Fancy", it might be true that it's not fancy, but I would definitely stay here again, and recommend to anyone, definitely for the price. Clean, warm, and plenty of room. We stayed for about 5 nights, cozy cabin, great location, and quiet.
Trees, brisk air, adorable cabin, and Ravens. This A-Frame Cabin was everything our family was looking for to spend Christmas away from home. It had all the amenities we needed to cook home-cooked meals, the check-in process was a breeze, and the location was an excellent, quiet little neighborhood in the pines.
Peaceful and quiet, no distractions, neighbors must have been on vacation. Highly recommend staying here and would return in a heartbeat. couldn't ask for a nicer host!

We love the front porch, but we wish there had been a gate so the dog couldn’t go down the stairs. She’s a rescue and has issues and she has the fear she’s gonna be left so we couldn’t let her out in the run behind the house by herself because she would try and escape. We were very comfortable in the house and she loved watching the squirrels on the porch.
This is very comfortable property. The Neighborhood was very quiet.

Sorry to hear you had trouble with the Roku TV. Its pretty standard these days. Also the heat doesn't get turned off. It stays on to prevent the pipes from freezing.
Thanks for staying at my place.

We stayed here a total of 8 nights in the summer months. This place had everything we needed- If you’re a sucker for chapter books, vintage music, and good old fashioned outdoor fun, this is the place for you! We had everything we needed in our home-away-from-home. My husband and I both agreed that we would love to stay here again- A nice place to stay on our vacation when we were between outdoor adventures. Our only complaint would be the innerspring mattress in the main bedroom - If you’ve never slept on an innerspring coil mattress, google it. (It’s a great bed for an individual, not so great when sharing a bed with a partner)The kitchen had everything we needed, and check-in/out was a breeze. Joe is awesome, his place is awesome, and our stay was awesome. Definitely a vintage style cabin that won over our hearts We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Thank you for the kind words on my cabin. I try to put myself in my customers place and make my cabin as comfortable as possible. This is my home, not a room or a hotel so you will forgive the groceries in the cabinets and frig. I bought this place after 20 years in the valley. It had snowed heavily so I fell in love with it immediately. I really miss snow at Christmas. It was Februrary.

Your host
I am a retired hardware and software engineer. I live in Chandler and visit my 'A' frame in Overgaard at least once per month even in winter.
Why they chose this property
As a former AirBnB user I know what I didn't like about renting rooms on their website. Even though I visit my cabin regularly you won't find the dressers and closets full of clothes or the frig with old food in it. Everything there is for your use. All the usual things you would expect at a fine hotel, clean beds, clean rooms, and high speed Internet you will find here except an ironing board and iron. You are suppose to be on vacation after all. Dogs OK, no cats.
What makes this property unique
A very large front deck for entertaining and watching the sun set. The 2nd floor is all open, has several beds and would be great for a kids sleepover party. Overgaard is 20 degrees cooler than the valley and is great for antiquing, hiking and visiting one of the rim lakes for fishing and boating.
