You can't beat the location of this town-home. They have parking available and a full size kitchen for cooking. All the comforts of home. Having two king sized beds was a hit and both have the softess sheets we have felt for a long time.
The owner was easy to communicate with, although probably needs to do a little updating or tracking of their listing. We were sad not to have a working fireplace or hot tub (pictured). However, they gave us a small reimbursement for the issues, which was appreciated.
Our only recommedation to make this an amazing experience is to upgrade the towels and provide several more. They are scratchy and old and we found with 4 people we ran out easily.
Great Cottonwood Heights spot to ski Wasatch Mountains
Great property if you’re looking to ski Alta, Solitude, Snowbasin, etc - nicely appointed, clean, attractive, and 24 min to Alta (assuming no traffic up LCC). Would absolutely stay here again. Less than a mile from Whole Foods, drug stores, and other conveniences.

Liked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities, communication
The only disappointment I had was that the advertised hot tub was drained
This was our first visit to Utah and this property was ideal! Two teens and their moms. Beautiful neighbourhood with breathtaking views! Felt very safe to walk around, even at night. 15 minute walk to Whole Foods to pick up any groceries.
The home was extremely clean and nicely decorated. Swing chairs are more comfortable than they look! Beds are so comfortable. All linens crisp and clean. Had everything we needed. Smart TV was great for viewing maps from our iPhones and planning our days. Wifi worked well. So nice having laundry available. Huge bottles of soap, shampoo and conditioner in the shower.
Hosts are very friendly and communicative. We were given ample warning that the complex was being repaved and we would need to park on the street overnight. We had no issues.
Would highly recommend Sarah as host and this property! Hope to maybe return one day for ski season!!
We booked this rental after a previous rental fell through due to the owner selling the property. This rental listing had no reviews, but cute pictures, so we decided to risk it. My family visited Utah for my daughter’s senior graduation trip (she picked it). Good location for traveling to Bonneville Salt Flats, Antelope Island State Park, plus shopping, movie theaters, and restaurants. (Sumac Cafe and Root’d Cafe are excellent!)
Overall, clean interior and nice renovation.
The furnace thermostat had a mind of its own, and was challenging to achieve a comfortable temperature. It’s exactly the same one that we have at home, so we know how to work it.
The hot tub worked, but got foamy and smelled gross after running the jets.
We enjoyed the modern dinnerware with black flatware, the hanging chairs, the TV, magnetic Scrabble board, the slight Mountain View from the master bedroom, and lots of storage.
The backyard abuts to the interstate, so there was a little road noise at times, but it didn’t prevent a good night’s sleep.
It would be really nice to have a small table and chairs on the patio to sit at in the morning for coffee, and to hold towels while using hot tub.
