Come to your very own private resort on Cape Cod, located directly on the Cove of Nauset Harbor on the Eastham/Orleans line. The Jeremiah Smith House is the place to be for your quintessential Cape Cod getaway. This luxury home offers the perfect convergence of classic Cape Cod architecture and charm with all the modern comforts and amenities. This includes air conditioning throughout, 4 en suite master-sized bedrooms, a game room with TV, a gas fireplace, bumper pool, Xbox and Netflix as well as other games. Three of the bedrooms have their own streaming TV's, sitting areas., and beautiful views of the Cove. The fourth bedroom, on the first floor, is adjacent to a sitting room with streaming tv and a gas fireplace. There is a large, well equipped kitchen with granite counter tops and island, stainless steel appliances, Jenn_Aire cook top, and wall oven and microwave. The laundry room is conveniently located off the kitchen. There is also a dining area in the kitchen that enjoys spectacular views of the Cove. The 30 ft long Great Room ensures very comfortable space for all to gather together. This sprawling home is nestled on a 2 acre wooded waterfront lot (270 ft of direct private water frontage) on a dead end road, replete with a 25 foot dock with beach grass and the smell of salty air. The dock allows easy use of two 2-person kayaks, 2 paddle boards, a single kayak, and provides a docking opportunity for your boat which gives you access to the Atlantic Ocean. A kidney- shaped pool is perched on a knoll, taking advantage of spectacular water views. Next to the pool is a beautiful pergola with a gas fire pit, comfortable seating, and is great as a gathering place day or night. The "Oar House" offers all you need for the beach, including beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach toys and games. The huge rear deck, with gas grill, provides unobstructed views of the pool area and the Cove which are second to none.
All of this combines for a one-of-a-kind retreat built for creating memories. Elegant or casual dining, shopping, mini-golf, ice cream, sail boat, kayak or other boat rentals on the Harbor and the bike trail are all within a short walk away. This home provides all the amenities of your own small resort!

Perfect spot for a great vacation

The pool tops off a very equipped house including kayaks, paddle boards, with a great dock to launch from,beach equipment of every kind and a spectacular view. Very child friendly.

Outstanding family retreat

Maurice and Pam were wonderful both through the booking process, our stay, and afterwards. I made a point of calling them near the end of our stay to let them just how special it was for us. House is warm. Pool is essential. Pergola area is hard to leave. Close to food. We made memories. We hope to return.

Family reunion week in the Cape

We had a great time at this property. It was the first time that our three generations could be together in almost 2 years. It was the perfect set up for multiple generations. The pool was fantastic. We had no idea that we would spend as much time on the dock and on the water as we ended up doing. The kayaks and standup paddle boards were a great addition. The shed was well equipped for all our beach adventures. The location was central to so many great beaches. The Knack was about a 2 minute walk away and had great lobster rolls and ice cream. We would absolutely rent this property again.

This home is very special. From the moment you enter the driveway, you see the home, the pool and the expansive front lawn up to the dock on the cove, and you will be impressed by the pristine landscape, and know that beautiful days lie ahead at this property. Inside we found perfect spaces for all ages. The rooms were comfortable, the views were incredible. We have a family aged one to 67 and each person had a perfect bedroom/bathroom combination, comfortable beds, and great AC. I also must mention the very expansive deck that looks over the pool, yard, and the cove. There is a very large table that was perfect to gather for morning coffee, and dinnertime when we would cook on the grill. The dock was the highlight of the home. We caught crabs, kayaked, fished, ate s'mores, and watched the night sky. The weather was beautiful but we did have to contend with the wind and waves from Hurricane Erin. That day proved to be a chance to mini-golf, explore Ptown, hit the gift shops, and explore the Truro vineyard. We are already planning to return next summer. Our hosts could not be nicer and we feel so fortunate to have found this waterfront property!

Perfection!!!

We had the most glorious family vacation at the Jeremiah Smith House on Cape Cod! From top to bottom, it was sheer perfection!!! Upon arrival, Mo and Pam greeted us at the house and gave us the grand tour of this amazing property, which far exceeded our exceptions!!!! The photos don't do this house justice, seriously, it was AMAZING!!! Mo and Pam were so incredibly kind and knowing that we were there to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday left her a bottle of champagne along with a note in the refrigerator, wow!!...so incredibly thoughtful!!! The shed was loaded with everything we could possibly need/want to create the most memorable family vacation. There were beach chairs, pool floats, lawn games, fishing gear, beach umbrellas, kayaks, paddle boards, I mean, you name it!...it was in there! The back deck dining table sat all of us very comfortably and it was a perfect way to start the day with a cup of coffee overlooking the sound as the sun rose to welcome in the new day!!! Would definitely stay here again!...thank you Mo & Pam for sharing your exquisite home with us, absolute PERFECTION!!!

Perfect Spot for a Family Vacation

Our family had a wonderful week in Eastham at our dream house! With 6 adults and a toddler, we needed lots of private as well as common spaces. The house, furnished with antiques and nautical decor, is very welcoming and provided a warm gathering place for all of us. The family/great room ran across the back of the house, affording gorgeous views of the Orleans Town Cove. The 2 large upstairs bedrooms had amazing water views as well. The entire basement is furnished and provided a quiet area for our son, daughter-in-law and grandson.We also loved the deck and pergola for morning coffee, afternoon cocktails as well as al fresco dining. The pool was an added bonus, a warm respite after venturing into the chilly Atlantic! Walking through the backyard brought you to the dock on the cove, complete with kayaks and paddle boards. Additionally, there was an entire shed filled with life preservers, lawn toys, beach chairs, etc. The owners, Moe and Pam, have created a lovely oasis in a private setting, yet so close to shops, restaurants and beaches. Moe was quick to answer any questions I had prior to our visit and even sent a Cape Cod guide to us in the spring. He also called me shortly before we left to see if I had any additional questions and was very helpful with his responses. Our daughter and son-in-law were the first to arrive and Moe and Pam were on the premises to "show them the ropes." They even left a bottle of champagne in the fridge with a lovely, welcoming note! Our family will always treasure the memories we created here!

Nice house - perfect for our group

Owners were there to greet us and show us around. House is well cared for and has a beautiful view of the water. We made very good use of the pool during this recent heat wave. We played plenty of games around the big dining room table and coffee table, did a puzzle on the table in the kitchen, and ate all of our meals out on their deck. Loved our stay. Beautiful property!

We traveled to the Cape for a one week stay at the Jeremiah Smith house with our three adult sons, their spouses, and our grandson. We thoroughly enjoyed the gorgeous sunrises and views, gardens, pools, pergola, and large outdoor deck. Each couple had their own private bath and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was a bit small for a group of 8 trying to cook together but had all of the necessary pots, pans, and tools needed to prepare our meals. We’ve stayed in more modern homes in the past so this was a change for us but we enjoyed the antique feel and historical ambience of the home. Moe and Pam were gracious hosts!

Jeremiah House really exceeded our expectations

This was our 2nd weeklong visit to the Cape. This time with our new granddaughter. We liked being farther out on the Cape, between Chatham, Wellfleet, Orleans… There was so much to do at the house from the pool area, the dock area with the firepit (where we had happy hours), the basement with the bumper pool. Lots of family fund and memories. And Moe is an excellent host!,.

Last Hurrah to the Cape!

Amazing experience! Owners were gracious and accessible throughout the entire process (including the week we were there (owner was available via text for any/all inquiries)). BEAUTIFUL property - pictures do not do it justice. Had everything our large group (ages ranging from 3-60) needed to have fun and stay occupied. The owner told me he wanted this to be our "best vacation ever", and I am hard pressed to recall a vacation that compares. Highly recommend!

We have rented vacation houses for years and years and this house is by far the best! Moe and Pam could not have been more hospitable. The house is appointed with love and care. Amazing waterfront property

This home is an incredible property to spend your Cape Cod vacation on. Moe and Pam leave no stone unturned from communicating with us throughout the process to keeping this home to perfection. We enjoyed the views from the home weather we ate on the deck or sat under the pergola watching the kids swim. The kayaks, paddle boards were also a plus I can’t say enough good things...I would return!

Amazing Property!!!!!!

We just spent a week at this house and had an awesome time. This house has everything you could possibly need to vacation. We have been renting for years on the Cape and this place is very special: kayaking, paddle boarding, the pool, etc. We loved it and can’t wait to go back!!!!!

Our extended family has been coming to the Cape from Central Massachusetts for decades - actually over 70 years- and including four generations! We've owned 3 different homes in Eastham over the years, always delighted with the one we had, but realizing that as our family grew we needed more space. We purchased the Jeremiah Smith House in 2009, and have created countless memories there with our 4 daughters and their families, including 12 grandchildren! (In fact the signal flags flying on the flag pole are the first initial of each one!)

One of the highlights of the Jeremiah Smith House is its amazing location - its a combination of 2 acres of privacy, on a dead end road with only a few houses, spectacular views, access to dock and water sports, conveniently located to shopping, dining, churches, craft fairs and art galleries, summer theater, walk to an historic windmill, great ice cream, seafood restaurants, public tennis courts, play grounds, summer league baseball farm teams, charter fishing rentals at Rock Harbor, and Nauset Marina for daily or weekly boat rentals. Tie yours up to our dock!

What makes this property unique

The Jeremiah Smith House offers its guests a unique experience being located on the Outer Cape- considered one of the most quintessential and unspoiled (read "undeveloped") areas of the Cape. The Outer Cape averages about 3 miles wide, between Cape Cod Bay and the Atlantic Ocean - and the Jeremiah Smith House is located right in the middle, only a couple of miles each way! So guests can choose the Atlantic waves one day and the more tranquil Bay the next. Or stay home, to take advantage of the heated pool and the Cove! There are also public beaches on beautiful ponds as well as numerous walking trails. Eastham is also the gateway to the Cape Cod National Seashore - established by President John Kennedy in the early 60's to preserve this unique and historic spit of land to be treasured by generations to come. The Seashore offers weekly educational talks, guided walks, beach services, and numerous other tourist experiences and opportunities.

Eastham is located about half way between two Cape Cod "attractions" - Chatham , to the south, is a lovely Cape town that's great for shopping and dining, and is only 20 minutes away. Provincetown is also a must-see for its charm, vibrant art scene, sea-side dining, eclectic night life, and pilgrim history. P-Town is also only 20m minutes away,at the very tip of the Cape. !
