Breathtaking Views of Ocean & Arch in Delightful 1 Bedroom Condo
Updated!! This used to be Casa Bob for those of you that have been coming to Cabo for years. We have a longstanding recurring rental list, which is why we currently don't have many reviews. Happy to share additional reviews from renters upon request!
We're delighted you are here, so much so that we decided to name our home using a play on the Spanish word encantado, which translates to mean delighted. Typically when you meet someone new you say, "Estoy encantado de conocerte," meaning, "I'm delighted to know you." By changing the D in encantado to a B and making a new word, enCantABO, we were able to combine our delight and love of Cabo into our home's name. Welcome to Casa enCantABO.
Enjoy breathtaking sunsets from this well appointed 1 bedroom 1300 square foot condo that has it all. Every room in this 2nd floor corner unit has a view, which is surrounded by an oversized private wrap around deck.
Cabo is known for its natural rock formation, The Arch at Land's End. There are very few residences or hotels in Cabo that are able to see The Arch morning, noon, and night. Misiones is one of those special complexes that has this stunning million dollar view and is considered a hidden gem in Cabo. It is one of the oldest condo complexes in Cabo. If you're looking for a more modern vibe, this place is not for you as the architecture lends itself to a more traditional flavor as noted in the photos. The complex caters to a more mature crowd that is looking for a laid back vacation and appreciates quiet evenings listening to the sounds of the waves crashing into the rocks.
The property features a guarded entrance, large swimming pool with a swim up palapa bar and restaurant. There is a small grocery store on the property that has all of the basic essentials. A .7 mile walk or drive up the road will bring you to a brand new grocery store called Fresko. There is also a Costco a little further up the road.
The world renowned Mona Lisa, which is known for its sunset views, is located adjacent to the condo. You could walk there for dinner each night or enjoy the same view from our balcony which sits behind and above the restaurant.
The property has access to two semi-private beaches. Monuments is a surfing beach with a newer hotel, The Cape, overlooking it. The other is Cabo Bello, which is shared with a private community. Both beaches are enclosed by rock formations, which is what makes them semiprivate - no peddlers will be seen!
Located 15 mins from Cabo San Lucas and 30 mins from San Jose del Cabo, it is ideal for a couple looking for a romantic getaway, a pair of friends looking to spend some time together relaxing, or a solo traveler looking to escape to paradise.
If you want to head to the action in Cabo San Lucas or venture toward the other end and go shopping for local artisan products in San Jose del Cabo, you will need to have a rental car, use Uber/Lyft, or take a bus. All are great options, it just depends on your budget, how much time you have, and how adventurous you want to be.

About the host
Hosted by Casa enCantABO

It has always been a dream of Sam's to have a home on the water. She would be content on a creek, a river, or a lake. But, the ocean? Well, that was always a fantasy.
Samantha has been coming on and off to Cabo for years. Sam introduced Geoff to Cabo in the winter of 2021 when they decided to move to Cabo for two and a half months during the pandemic. Working remotely allowed them to escape the frigid temps of Chicago and enjoy a winter in the Baja. The ideal climate in Cabo combined with the fact that Sam and Geoff could wake up and watch the sunrise from one side of their rental's balcony and the sunset from the other side was something that stuck with them. And, whales breeching all throughout the day? That was the icing on top. It never got old.
They decided to return to Cabo during the winter of 2022 and while there they put an offer in on a home. When deciding to take this plunge, Sam was a little nervous but Geoff turned to her and said, "Let's do this. You've always wanted a home on the water. You've been saying this is a dream of yours since the day I met you. Let's make this dream of yours, now ours, come true." With that, her fear dissipated and they are now the owners of Casa enCantABO. Now, it's Sam's turn to entertain Geoff's dream of getting a puppy.
