The place was very comfortable and just as it is advertised on the post. Check in was a breeze and everything was all set for us upon arrival. View of the river was great and had a fantastic time fishing!
My daughter and I spent the weekend camping in this nice canvas tent, making coffee and breakfasts on the BBQ and enjoying the sounds of nature all within minutes of civilization and all that Montana has to offer!
Perfect spot for two friends to enjoy the outdoors and the amazing fishing the Gallatin has to offer. We loved the tent and outdoor shower and this was a perfect glamping experience. Will definitely return with my wife next year. Thanks Julie for an amazing stay.
What a perfect, peaceful choice for a solo weekend in Bozeman! Julie and Jason were very accommodating and friendly. The property is beautiful, safe and serene. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I will absolutely be back!
Cool property very close to the Gallatin...if you are looking to wake up and step outside, right into some great trout fishing (except in May/June during runoff), this is a place to check out.
We are backpackers/campers but decided to add a little glamp into our trip. What a great experience. The accomodations were truly lovely. The setting is incredible, right by the Gallatin overlooking a green meadow where deer visited. Everything was clean and easy, shower had plenty of hot water, and we really just felt pampered. The host was super responsive and kind, 5 stars all around.
This is exactly what we were hoping for while in Montana! This property was hidden away and secluded, we had all the privacy we wanted along with a river to fish only 10 yds away. Sleeping at night with the fresh air, cool breeze and sound of the river highlighted a beautifully kept space. The king bed was fantastic, if I had any negative feedback it would be to upgrade the old Coleman stove/grill that we chose not to use with a new bbq/grill.

Thank you Joe for taking the time to submit a review and for sharing your constructive feedback! We will look into replacing the stove/grill. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we wish you the best!
Wow, what an amazing experience! Clean, cozy, peaceful canvas tent tucked away near the river. We actually had time to read for 3 hours and we couldn't decide whether to read on the inside cots, the cozy chair/ottoman, the outside cot, the hammock or the little "shack" by the river! So many choices, so little time! We will be back and we thank you for sharing this nook of your glorious property with us.
What a fantastic time at TroutChasers Lodge! We enjoyed fishing right out from the Glamping Tent! We were able to make our own meals, had a fire each night, and caught a lot of fish! An absolute place!
Since 2004, Jason & Julie have owned/operated Montana TroutChasers Lodge & Fly Fishing Outfitters. Their family has since grown to include two daughters who are very much a part of the family-run business. They enjoy the simple things: playing outside, eating delicious food, and forming long-lasting friendships with their guests.
Why they chose this property
We (and you!) get the best of both worlds - convenient access to all of the fantastic things the college town of Bozeman affords (wonderful restaurants, breweries/distilleries, locally-owned shops & galleries, university happenings, cultural events) AND the relaxing experience of staying on spacious acreage surrounded by nature and the free-flowing Gallatin River.
