About this property

Sandfly home with cottage and pool, close to downtown and Tybee

This home is in the Sandfly area, we love the area. There are great restaurants within a half mile down the street. The historic district is 15 minutes away, the airport is 30 minutes and Tybee Island beach is 30 minutes. The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a chefs kitchen and the kitchen table seats 8 with additional seating at the counter. The cottage house has an additional bedroom with 2 queen beds and it’s own bathroom and sliding glass door to a patio. The backyard is huge with your own private pool (3' shallow end 8' deep end) lined with palm trees. The pool is not heated and is used most late March through September. You will have a big front porch with rocking chairs and a porch swing shaded by a large oak tree draped in Spanish moss in the front yard. The property is equipped with high speed internet. Each bedroom has a 50” smart TV with 130 channels of cable. The living room has a 55” inch smart TV. This is residential neighborhood and we do not allow parties and please ask that you keep the outdoor noise down from 10pm-630am. There is a shooting range close enough that you can hear it during business hours. It honestly has never bothered us.

This home was perfect for me, my husband, our four kids and my dad. A spacious home, comfortable beds. The backyard is to die for, the pool is the best part! It was the perfect distance from downtown Savannah, and Tybee island which we loved exploring both during our trip! We have zero complaints and would 100% stay here again!

Great family house

We stayed with 4 adults and 5 kids. The pool was amazing! The location is great, 15-20 minute drive to downtown. Everything we needed was provided including beach chairs, cooler, etc. The host was very helpful and communicative. Overall, the stay was great!

Wonderful

We had a wonderful stay at this property in Savannah! The home was absolutely lovely—clean, comfortable, and beautifully set up for a multi-family getaway. We especially enjoyed the pool, which was a highlight for both kids and adults alike. The layout of the house made it easy for everyone to relax and spend time together, while still having enough space for privacy. The location was ideal—just a short drive to explore the charm of downtown Savannah and also perfectly situated for day trips to Tybee Island. We couldn't have asked for a better home base and would definitely stay here again!

Great accommodations!

Just spent one week at Sandfly Cottage and had a wonderful time! We had a girls trip and the house was perfect for us. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and all of the beds were very comfortable. Lots of towels in bathrooms and also beach towels for by the pool. Outdoor space was very nice and pool was wonderful. Downtown Savannah was a 15 minute Uber ride. Great location and lots of good restaurants within walking distance just down the road. Highly recommend and would stay here again for sure.

Sandfly Home for Savannah Vacation

Home away from home!

We had an amazing time here. There was ten of us that stayed here. The setup was perfect for our family trip. My sister in law, her husband, and their two little boys were able to stay in the cottage. My in-laws stayed in the room downstairs. While my husband and myself were in one room and our daughters stayed in the other room upstairs. We all had our own private space and have time alone if wanted. The dining table was big enough to hold us all, including a high chair for the toddler. The pool water temp was perfect. The kitchen and living room were the perfect size for us all. We never felt on top of one another. The location was perfect. You were close to town but you didn’t have the city feel at the house. The front yard is PERFECT if you want to have some family pictures taken. The owners are great about getting back with you and answering any questions you may have. If we ever make it back to Savannah we will for sure be staying there again. I just can’t say enough good things about this place.

Girls weekend out

Was a wonderful home with a dream come true backyard that was perfect for a weekend trip with the girls. The pool is perfect and the deck is super spacious. Pleasantly surprised by how comfy the beds were. I normally have a hard time sleeping places that are not my bed but I fell asleep like a baby. There’s a Kroger down the street that delivered groceries and fun bars are just a 20 minute Uber.

Fantastic Stay!

This home was perfect for our group celebrating our friends bachelorette. Andrew was so helpful and quick to respond! The location was super easy to get to downtown Savannah, and we walked in the mornings to the local coffee shop and cute farmers market in the area. I hope to go back to Savannah with a group soon so I can stay here again! 10/10 experience :)

Excellent location and access to Savannah

This house was great for our family of 10–6 adults, 3 teenagers,and one 10 year old. The pool is a saltwater pool (great) and a great deck from kitchen to pool . 4 total bedrooms and romm in 2 of them for an air mattress. Great kitchen and bar area and adjoining dining room Would highly recommend .

Amazing House

The neighborhood was amazing and just a short drive away were great stores and restaurants. The house is gorgeous and had all the necessary amenities. I only communicated with one of the owners (Andy) and he was very responsive and addressed any issues in real time and we really appreciated that. I would recommend this property and the drive to Savannah isn't far at all, as you're mostly using major roads or highways.

Girls weekend!

I rented Andy's place in Savannah for a girl's weekend and it was the perfect location for the 9 of us. The backyard is stunning and a perfect spot to lay by the pool. We had plenty of beds and space to get ready, and take photos. The house was about a 15-20 minute ride to River St in Savannah, which was not bad but since we came from another state and didn't have our own car, it did require a lot of Ubers. Andy was very responsive, and even allowed us a late check-out when our plans for the final day changed because of flight issues.

Perfect for our adventure to Georgia

This property matched the description perfectly. It's in a perfect spot in a more quiet area so we could take a day and go to downtown Savannah and then Tybee Island another day. The Wormsloe Historic site is literally around the corner too! A few really great restaurants and shopping right down the road was super convenient on days we just wanted take out. This property was perfect for my husband and I and 4 children. The pool was an absolute hit and the fact that there were some pool toys was an added bonus. The host was super friendly and helpful and quick to respond when we had any issues. He also gave me great recommendations for things to do in the area! Hopefully we can come back one day!

Savannah Family 2024

House was large. I would have to say it needs a deep cleaning. The yard and around pool and out front and area to walk thru bushes really need to be trimmed and all the weeds growing up! There was beer cans and other empty bottles outside the property out back when we arrived. The trash had not been emptied from the week before and I do not even want to say what that was like!! It's a great place and location just needs to be checked more often I feel before a check in like the pool and yard that had not been taken care of and I had to contact host, I know it has rained a lot but I had my yard and pool at my house ready for them to use and enjoy. The host did reply and did his best to resolve matters.

Gorgeous property in upscale neighborhood

My husband and I travel for work all year round and this was one of the best rental experiences we've had. The home is immaculate! The neighborhood is serene and quiet with very friendly neighbors. Everything is brand new and the beds were extremely comfortable. We also really loved how cool the central air was as we are not used to Southern temperatures. The fact that there is a separate cottage on the property was a huge bonus for us as well, as our group was made up of 5 business professionals and we all felt like we had our own space. The owners were incredibly responsive with the couple of questions that came up during our stay, and the check in/check out process was very convenient. Unfortunately we did not get to take advantage of the beautiful inground pool in the backyard, but hope to be able to when we return this summer. We did very much enjoy the grill on the back deck, which is hard lined to the home's propane supply so we never had to worry about changing out a tank :) We absolutely recommend this property to anyone who wants to truly experience Savannah!

Perfect weekend trip for a large group!

I recently stayed at this house for a lowkey Savannah bachelorette with a large group (11 people). The house is just a 15-20 minute drive to downtown Savannah to go to restaurants, bars, and explore the city. Andrew was super helpful and replied within just an hour or two if we had questions. When we got to the house, the pool was green, and Andrew sent the pool cleaning company that day to fix the chemical balance. The lighting was a little dark in the house, so you may want to bring a ring light for pics. Also definitely recommend buying garbage bags and extra TP & paper towels, especially with a large group of people. Also bug spray, but that’s just Savannah in August lol. Our group brought pool floats and loved the pool, we had plenty of room for everyone and the house felt clean and comfortable. There were also bath and beach towels at the house, and washing machines - super helpful! Would recommend & would stay again!

We live in Utah and love to travel. We have 6 children, 2 fur babies and 2 grandchildren and 2 grandpuppy's. Andrew loves adventure and is an avid hiker (can regularly be found on an Utah mountain top), animal lover, fitness enthusiasts and loves photography. He works as an operations manager at a wholesale lumber distribution center. Carina is an animal lover, loves fashion design, fitness, baking, cleaning, organizing and dance. We love spending time with family and are always up for an adventure.
