The J Hideaway is the perfect mountain home retreat located inside the Big Canoe community. This newly renovated, professionally designed home showcases 180 degree views at over 2100 ft. elevation. Enjoy 20+ miles of hiking trails, 3 waterfalls, 3 lakes, 27 holes of golf, off-roading Jeep trail, lake-front clubhouse, fitness center and spa, indoor and outdoor swimming and more……. Without leaving the gates! The North Georgia towns of Dawsonville, Dahlonega and Blue Ridge are nearby to enjoy!
This spectacular home in Big Canoe boasts 180 degree Mountain Views for days. 4 bedroom, 5 bath home features a Great Room with a stone fireplace and premier mountain views. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials and luxuries to host a nice dinner for your group! The kitchen features a double oven, 6 burner stove & elevated dishwasher. There is a "moody" formal dining room with a round table for gathering as well as a breakfast nook in the kitchen with a long table and plenty of seating situated for the view. Enjoy the study with a conversational seating area that includes a powder room off the foyer.
Master on the main has a king bed, chaise lounge for relaxing, conversation and could comfortably sleep one person. Enjoy the jacuzzi tub, large separate shower and double vanity sinks with plenty of storage.
The sunporch is attached, fully enclosed and includes a large, ceiling height stone fireplace, television, separate heating/cooling unit and opens to the large patio that spans the length of the house. Enjoy two seating areas outside along with a stainless steel propane, chef's grille station for cooking outdoors.
Downstairs is a living area with a television, 2 bedrooms (queen beds) including ensuite bathrooms in each. The 4th bedroom (queen bed) is connected to the gaming area. You know its Game Time when the lights are on! Enjoy a foosball table and high-top whiskey barrel table to gather.
All smart tv's throughout the home. Sonos speakers upstairs and downstairs, wifi extenders included. We have an electric vehicle charger available.
PARKING: We can accommodate up to 8 cars. There is no street parking available.

What makes this property unique
Big Canoe is a one of a kind, vibrant Blue Ridge mountain, private community located in the foothills of the North Georgia Appalachian Mountains, Big Canoe is just an hour drive from Atlanta. It’s the perfect place for weekend getaways, summer vacations, fall retreats and holidays in the mountains because it’s so close while still feeling far removed from it all. Big Canoe offers over 20 miles of hiking trails, 3 waterfalls, 3 lakes, 27 holes of golf and more.
Big Canoe is registered with the Atlanta Audubon Society as an official Wildlife Sanctuary, and is home to many species of birds, including bald eagles, quail and wild turkeys. You will also find black bear, deer, rabbits and squirrels. Big Canoe is known for its natural beauty to includes a network of hiking trails suitable for any skill level. The unpaved Lower Falls Trail offers a moderate challenge, at 1.5 miles each way. The nearby Jeep Trail (Upper and Lower) allow owners of 4x4s to experience the thrill of driving off-road, crossing several streams and exploring a historic cabin along the way.
