Beautiful home with wonderful accommodations and views! Clean and spacious. Good communication and well laid-out instructions. Perfect for a gathering.
I can't say enough about this property: the location, the views, the amenities! It was perfect for our large group to stay at and enjoy a beautiful summer weekend in Missoula!
Our entire party was very happy with the Missoula Lookout. Location/view, accommodations (especially the kitchen) - all were great. Laundry outside of the master suite would be nice to have, but was not a hindrance.
This property is so spacious and the views are truly stunning. There’s something about having your ears pop from altitude when you drive home from town that makes this a first for us.
The house was perfect for our family for the celebration of our granddaughter’s birthday and going away get together. We had ample room, the view was priceless and accommodation’s were perfect for all who stayed- I can’t imagine a place that would have been better. We absolutely loved this property!
It doesn't get much better than this--great view, sauna, lots of games and books, a well-stocked kitchen. It is truly luxurious. We kept pinching ourselves to make sure it was real.
We had a great time at this beautiful home! Very comfortable house with an unbelievable view. We even had deer in the backyard many mornings. The host was very quick to respond to the only question I had about the fireplace. Will probably stay again.
Great spot for a getaway with the ladies in my family. The house was clean and had the best stocked kitchen of any VRBO in which I have stayed. We were close to downtown and hiking trails. The fall views were fabulous, and it was fun to watch the deer wandering around the property. I only wish it had been a little warmer so that we could enjoy a fire on the patio in the evening!
We had a group in town for a friends 50th birthday celebration weekend and 6 of us recently stayed at Joy’s property and the house is amazing! Everything you could possibly need was there but as great as the house was, Joy was even better as a host. She responded very quickly when we had a couple questions come up and her welcome letter was very thorough and had all the information you would need. We will definitely stay in this house again when we come back to Montana. Highly recommended!
We gathered family from Maine, Florida and Utah for a wedding in the area. The home accommodated our large group comfortably. The kitchen was well equipped to cook our meals together and the patio offered amazing views at all times. Deer frequent the property and drink from the pond! Some from our group chose to hit the trail leaving from the driveway. All around we had a wonderful time in the home. No complaints.
What a beautiful home!!!! Very clean and great amenities. Spectacular sunrises and sunsets every day! Absolutely loved the morning and evening visits from all the Deer's! The trail just behind the home was wonderful for an early morning hike as well. Thank you, Joy for such a memorable stay!!
Absolutely beautiful place to stay! Very comfortable and lots of room. The view is incredible and location great. Loved the nearby hiking trails. Joy was very communicative and personable. Would definitely stay there again.
If you're looking for the perfect place to stay in Missoula that is modern, clean, has plenty of room, and with a view that won't quit? This is the place to stay. We had a gathering of friends and family, six of us in all, and we couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. It had everything we needed and more. The owners were easy to communicate with, and responded right away to our questions. 5 stars, across the board.
We really wanted to love this house. It has an amazing location up on the hill overlooking the whole valley. The house is huge and has lots of room for spreading out and several rooms too. The first thing we noticed was that the front door doesn't shut completely unless you use the bolt lock. This was a little inconvenient. There are so many light switches to use and some don't seem to go anywhere just a little confusing. The fireplace in the room with the piano and up in the bedroom weren't working but we did enjoy the one in the family room along with the air hockey table. We tried using the Sauna but the temperature, even after adding more time, never really got hot enough to get a good sweat. We also wanted to use the bikes, but both of their tires were flat and there was no pump to use. In one room upstairs there is a hole in the ceiling where you can see insulation and into the attic along with a hole in the wall behind the chair. Several of the cabinets don't shut correctly and many of them had glue put on them which looked a little bit tacky. We also enjoyed the firepit outside the last night as the wood provided was nice and dry and caught very quickly. I think this place could be really nice with a little TLC and I do realize it is a rental, I just think for the price tag that things could be in better shape and amenities that are being provided should work properly.
This home was huge, with most amenities that we needed, a beautiful location, and space to play games and visit in small groups, and just enjoy being together.
The location was private but conveniently close to town. You can’t beat the views and the layout of the house was perfect for our group of nine. There’s a walking trail close to the house plus a well stocked entertainment area with an air hockey game. We really enjoyed our stay.
Held a small team retreat here and we had a wonderful time. The views were excellent. Communication with the host was great, she kept us informed of any changes or details we needed to know in a timely manner. Thanks again!
Hi, I am Joy and an educator for over 25 years. Our family now lives in Big Sky, Montana after living in Kirkland, WA, Quito, Ecuador, and Missoula, Montana. Our family loves to adventure so we've always loved staying in other homes and now are excited to share our homes. Thanks for choosing our beautiful home. We really love sharing in others special moments.
Why they chose this property
This property is like no other. There are few places in Missoula that have views, a hiking trail outside their front door, but are close to everything in 5-10 minutes or less. It also is a huge 5,000 square foot space that allows all to have their personal space but come together to share in lovely dinners and moments together.
