An eat-in table Through the sliding doors, you'll find access to the screened-in lanai - a lovely spot to bring your morning coffee, read the newspaper in the island breeze, or play cards after sunset with a cocktail in hand.

Kona Shores offers breathtaking views from the swimming pool and a private ocean gate to our renowned "One Step," a naturally occurring ocean access point for snorkelers and scuba divers. You'll be a short walk from the beach and across the street from bike rentals, perfect for visits to Kona Village. The Kona trolley is also available to guests.

Nice, clean place.

We enjoyed our stay here. The place was clean and had all the necessities we needed to cook our own meals. The pool was a nice temperature at 9 am and the views of the ocean from there were great. The only issue was the lock box was missing the keys. Had to call vacasa and then they had to get a hold of the local maintenance to get the maintenance key box code. After we got that one unlocked to unlock the outer screen door, the electronic keypad for the main door wouldn’t work(battery dead?). Took over 30 minutes to get in after calling and being on hold, but those issues would be easy fixes and I’m sure they got it taken care of for the next guests hopefully.

We had a little trouble checking in because the pass code sent to us did not work. We contacted the phone number on site n were helped right away. Took about 10 min.

Great location and condo!

We loved the location and the condo had all the amenities you could need. The location was much better than advertised because parking in downtown Kona was crazy, so being able to walk into town is a huge bonus. We didn't spend much time at the pool, but the view is amazing as it is right on the water. The one caveat to the booking is that it is booked through a third party (Vacasa) and they were very hard to get ahold of via VRBO, which was the only contact option for messaging. They seemed to have a different cancelation policy than what was advertised on VRBO was well, which was a bit frustrating and definitely a different experience than booking through a standard VRBO listing. Otherwise, would definitely recommend staying here!
