Beautiful Banyans Beach is mere steps across the street from this thoughtfully updated studio condo in Kailua-Kona. Enjoy a private lanai with a view of the ocean through the palms - a wonderful spot for everything from morning coffee to tropical cocktails at sunset.

This studio sits on the second floor of Kona Bali Kai, a complex with its own outdoor pool, hot tub, oceanfront picnic area with gas grills (across the road), laundry room, and free parking. You'll find a stop for the Kona trolley practically out front and great surfing at Banyans just steps away. It's a prime location only three-quarters of a mile from Pāhoehoe Beach Park, one mile from Magic Sands Beach Park, and two miles from the heart of Kona town.

After a day spent surfing, boogie boarding, or swimming in the community pool, come home to kick back on the lanai, relax in the cool breeze, and take in a gorgeous sunset over the Pacific.

The air-conditioned interior has been beautifully updated with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen and island-inspired decor throughout. There's a breakfast bar for casual meals and after-dinner board games, a sitting area with a cable TV, and high-speed WiFi to help you plan your daily excursions and keep an eye on the surf report.

Great stay here.

The unit was just as advertised. We has some sea view. Our favourite part was being able to take our morning coffee over to the waters edge, sit in a nice chair, and watch the surfers near by. We had a wonderful stay. Oh, the bed was comfy.

This place was pretty clean and a convenient location. Wish I knew they had all the beach equipment including 2 snorkel sets as we spent money renting those. We never did check out Bantans beach but the pool area was nice and right by Da Poke restaurant which was amazing. Very small peekaboo view of beach but not far to walk across and view sunsets and beach. Close to downtown Kona.

This condo is right across the road from the ocean with lovely sunset views. We loved the unit with a very comfortable bed but the couch is only big enough for children to sleep on. The kitchen is stocked with all the basics. Definitely recommend this for a couple or a young family.

Very clean. Location is very convenient. Love that the parking is easy and assessable. Especially love that there is beach gear that we can use which made our trip even better since we were exploring. Would stay here again. The pool is located across the street in the other unit complex. Not complicated at all but it’s not in the same area.

Very Tight Quarters

The bed was incredibly comfortable. The kitchen was perfect. The location was nice however the road is very busy. The downside: getting out of the king bed near the wall was difficult. It’s a very tight space. There are no places to hang towels inside. This is not for 4 people unless 2 are toddlers. We had 2 adults and 2 kids (9yr old) and due to space we had to share the king bed with one child. There was nowhere to put our luggage either which was a challenge. I recommend this property for 2 people but not for 4.

Kona Bali Kai

This little studio apartment was great for my boyfriend and I during our stay in Kona. Upon arrival, check in was super easy as you are provided with a door code to your unit and there are keys to the unit and pool/laundry facilities inside. The unit was very clean and we were welcomed with a basket full of local goodies and a parking pass to fill out. Parking was nice as the complex has its own lot and there were many open spots for temporary residents. We were very happy that the unit had A/C that worked very well. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and there are tons of extra blankets if needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need. The unit we were in faced the ocean, however it was across the street so it wasn’t RIGHT on the ocean, but we didn’t mind. We appreciated how we were supplied with beach chairs, pool noodle, beach umbrella, and a boogie board. All the appliances worked, as well as the TV. We had troubles with the internet going out one night, but other than that it was fast. This was our first time in Kona, and this property is on our list to stay again. I highly recommend Vacasa and Kona Bali Kai.

The site of this place is in a good spot where you are two miles from the pier and a mile away from little beaches to enjoy. From the room you can hear the waves crashing. There were multiple amenities available within the kitchen compared to other vacation stays. One issue were ants in the kitchen and crawling on the bed frame. Good thing there was ant spray but no other cleaning supplies to clean up after the counters.

Great property if you are looking to explore and not just spend time in the room or pool. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked with appropriate utensils. TV with lots of internet options. Lanai, small and faces street, which is busy during the day but quiet at night. Just chairs and side table, but we ate meals out there. Peak a boo view of the ocean. Beach property across the street great for evening cocktail and watching sunset. Parking convenient. Second floor, no elevator. Communication with Vacasa desk across the street, great!! Not so much luck with sending message through Verbo app. Unhelpful!! Don’t waste your time. Only 2 miles from Kailua Bay and 1 mile from Magic Sands, so great, if you like to walk, or take free shuttle which runs hourly up and down Ali’i Drive. Overall, pleased with our selection. I would recommend.
