Newly remodeled room in a broken down building

The ROOM was indeed BEAUTIFULLY REMODELED with basic amenities. The owners were both great, communicating well and answered in a timely manner. However, THE BUILDING IS FALLING APART. The ceiling tiles are missing exposing wires. The hallways have a very unpleasant smell probably the mildewed carpet and smoke infused walls. There was a lot of commotion in the hallways and nearby rooms, we could hear the party like atmosphere and some arguing throughout the night. The entrance doors to the building once had locks so only guest can have access but they were broken. The doors to all the rooms were a struggle for a lot of guest as you constantly heard slamming of the door trying to get it to lock in place. (Thanks to the owner of this room for giving clear instruction of how to operate the door and lock). Pretty clear view of the ocean from the room. You aren't looking straight on to the ocean but just over the parking lot. Beautiful nonetheless.

Overall Very Good

The place was very nice and was an absolute steal for the price. The only complaint i would have was the lack of a balcony in the hotel. The hotel itself was under renovation so there were a few minor things that needed some work. The room itself looked freshly renovated and was very nice. It’s small, but that’s what we were looking for. Only certain pans work with the burner so be careful about that. Also, the fridge takes a long time to get cool but other than that it was a great stay !

This condo building has always been one of my favorites, and it's finally getting a much needed facelift. It's right on the border of Daytona Beach Shores, so close enough to all the great stuff to go and do in Daytona proper, but just far enough for the quiet and the peace for a truly fantastic vacation.

What makes this property unique

The endless waves and sand.... Birds singing and fishing outside your window. Killer sunrises every morning. And this unit is completely redone - modern, stylish, comfortable.

The unit is fully equipped with everything you'll need for a short getaway or a longer stay.
