Stay was overall a great time. Description of home was pretty good. It was definitely worth the money. Beds were sooo comfy and there was enough room for out large group to be more than comfortable. Enjoyed fishing on the pier. Would recommend changing cleaning person however. But nothing major.

Host was great with communication and the place was amazing. Pier, house and parking were great! Crab traps, poles, gear on site! Town was a 5 min drive(fresh bait), lots of fish caught, stories told and great time had! Perfect place for a family trip or multi family trip! Minor issues….There were no towels to be found in any bathrooms, we did find some with the washer and dyer but they seemed more dog towels or rags than what guests should have been using; very disappointing after reading several times to bring beach towels all others were provided.BBQ pit was there and had gas however functional at best. 5 guys all mechanically inclined and we were worried to use it because it was hissing and kept going out, we were able to get our steaks grilled but was not the most comfortable grilling of steaks, almost asked the neighbors to use theirs.

Great place for a quiet getaway

The property is very clean and the kitchen is well stocked. It has its own pier which is great for fishing. Many beach and walk locations nearby. We really enjoyed it.

Fishing and Relaxing

The house is comfortable and in a great location for morning and evening fishing sessions on the pier. Close to Matagorda beach for surf fishing. Very quiet neighborhood and great backyard to sit and read a book while taking in the bay views.

Fishing Trip

We took a father/son fishing trip to Turtle Bay and stayed at the Barn on the Bay. We had a great visit! Fran and Kevin were great hosts, check-in/out was seamless, the house was clean and everything was as advertised. Most importantly there was a fishing pier the kids spent all day on. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Vacation

This was the perfect vacation. The house was perfect. There was plenty of room in the house, the yard was big, and the outside pier was awesome to fish off of. We will be back! The hosts are great and attentive as well, always messaging you back quickly if you need something.
