About this property

Private 3BD Home with Beautiful Mountain Views on 3 Acres (Foosball, Smart TVs)

Come unwind at our picturesque 3-bedroom cabin in the beautiful Wet Mountains (a sub-range of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains) of Colorado. The house has large full floor-to-ceiling windows and a two-level deck overlooking the property to give you great views. Westcliffe and the surrounding area is an official “Dark Sky Community” and you can find many spots (including the back patio of the cabin for amazing star gazing) to catch amazing views of the night sky.

The Surroundings
Located on 3 acres in the spacious mountains in the foothills outside of Westcliffe. You’ll have plenty of space for relaxing and enjoying the fresh mountain air in privacy. Get ready to take in clear night skies full of brilliant constellations from the back-patio.

The Amenities
The cabin is fully equipped to be your home-away-from-home. The kitchen is fully furnished with appliances, cookware, dishes, etc – everything you need. You can enjoy your meals together around the dining room table or on the back deck patio set.

After hiking, snowshoeing, rafting, or whatever you decide to do around the area, you can enjoy the family room for a movie night. This comfy space includes a flatscreen TV with streaming access, a Ninja Turtles arcade cabinet, and a foosball table. (A note about WiFi: because our area has limited speed internet, you’ll need to be aware of multiple devices. After all, we are in rural Colorado!).

Two bedrooms include queen size beds and one is a full/twin combination bunkbed. With two bathrooms (one full and one ¾ bath), one on each floor, there is plenty of space for everyone to keep up with daily routines before heading out on their adventures!

Heading Into Town
While the cabin feels just the right amount of secluded, you’re still only 10 minutes away from town.

Things to do around the areas include Trails (Hiking & Snowshoeing) - Custer County ; Snowmobiling in the Wet Mountains - Custer County ; Off-Roading - Custer County; Whitewater Rafting; Royal Gorge Bridge & Park; Helicopter Tours; Bishop’s Castle ; Llama Trekking by Lookin Up Outfitters; and various lakes/reservoirs around the area!

Getting to the Area
Located only an hour due west of Pueblo and less than 2 hours from Colorado Springs, the cabin is very conveniently located from a variety of directions!

Whether you are visiting in the summer or the winter, our cabin is the ideal home base for exploring the vast beauty of this amazing area. We hope to see you soon!

Great stay for our family
This was a perfect fit for our family of 5. Loved having 3 floors to spread out. Nice location—quiet and private. Owner was very responsive when we had questions. Would love to stay here again.

Amazing
I've been coming to Colorado for 20 years now and I always do VRBO. This property is amazing. I stayed for 3 months and everyday I saw the neighborhood turkeys and deer. Your only 5 miles to Westcliffe, the roads in the neighborhood is excellent and the mountain views are to die for. The stocked kitchen was awesome but being able to choose which deck I wanted to eat on was even better. The beds are all comfortable and the basement was so neat, it's like a whole separate house down there. The owners were the best vrbo owners I've ever experienced. I got to know the neighbors and everyone is so nice there. You can walk to the top of the hill which is the end of the road and walk right onto BLM land. I can't say enough about this property and the owners. I have always loved Westcliffe, it is the best small mountain town.. This place was just like being home. Thank you again Matt and Kaycee .
