I grew up in a military family and traveled the world. I later joined the Navy myself and spent 12 years as a fighter/attack pilot flying off of aircraft carriers. After the Navy I spent 28 years with Continental Airlines (27 as a Captain ) flying Domestic and International routes. I currently live in Denver.

Sitting on 1.8 acres of land the Venerable Cabin has a serene and relaxed feeling creating a time for family games and memory-making experiences. We love spending Thanksgiving at the cabin.
Westcliffe is a sleeping jewel in a beautiful valley with magnificent mountains. The community recently received International Dark Skies recognition for the communities shaded lighting which preserves the night time views of the Milky Way and the stars above creating an incredible and moving experience.
Summertime in the small town of Westcliffe has offered us a variety of activities. With an outdoor theatre in the park, The Blue Grass Festival, Western Days, Movies at the local theatre, along with local fun unique shops.

We Love Enjoying the dry heat of the summer days along with the cool nights, listening to the stream in the background, and coming in the fall and see the spectacular sight of the Aspens turning to gold.
