WiFi service

The house was great with the exception of the WiFi connection. The majority of the trip we could not watch their TVs unless someone used their personal hotspot. Feel this is unacceptable

Wonderful family vacation home!!!!

spacious home- plenty of room to spread out. Wonderful eating space-2 large tables plus places at bar. There was a second full sized refrigerator which was very helpful. We cooked most all of our meals and enjoyed the kitchen. Short walk to the beach and also able to walk to Destin Commons. The pool is large and lots of fun. We would highly recommend this property

One of the best!

This is rated pretty high on our list and will keep this property on the short list. Pros: Huge pool, great outdoor and indoor living area with clean grill, and play ground, lots of room to eat and hang out, chair and umbrella rentals included!!! Cons: Limited bathrooms, so need to coordinate with other families. Doors DO NOT lock, except restrooms (no issues for us, we can see it causing some for others). Hot water runs out quickly, but replenishes quickly (showers need coordination).

Not really well maintained

We did not check in on time. The cleaning folks were running behind, though I understand there were a rowdy group before us. Kitchen was not well organized, although we eventually found what we needed. Stovetop had not been well cared for, so I had to scrape it off to get decent even heat. I dug a mouse sized piece of hair out of the bathroom tub drain-almost totally clogged. Dryer vents were awful and need to be emptied to dry anything well. Internet was sketchy at best. TV channel selection was great. Pool was very clean and well cared for. Having two refrigerators was great! Kitchen seating was awesome for our large family. Hot water supply was excellent. Beach was close and the reserved chairs were great. Several of our flights were cancelled for our checkout day and the cleaning crew was very nice as we waited for their arrival to vacate. We left the property at least as clean as when we arrived.

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G VACATION IN DESTIN!!!!!!

My friends and I had the pleasure of staying at family matters and it had EVERYTHING we needed!!! The only time we left the house was either to go to the beach or some of the fantastic restaurants within walking distance! The home inside was wayyy more than we expected! We rented the margarita machine and laid by the pool most of the days, theres an outdoor TV and we could listen to music!!! It was awesome having the gas grill and the kitchen right off the pool deck. The living room is HUGE and theres a little indoor bar too.We had great weather so we did most of our eatting at the outdoor dinner table. All the rooms were really realllly clean I couldnt believe it. Most of the houses Ive rented in the past were a little dinged up here and there but you can tell these people really take care of their properties. I could go ON AND ONNNNN!!! The people at Beach Reunion were also such a pleasure to deal with, they gave us all sorts of fun recommendations and just called out of no where to tell us the house was ready and wanted to know if we wanted go in early!!!!! It was also really also cool with the free bikes, we rode them to the beach access and locked them up there. We are already talking about booking for next year :)

Just what we needed

Birthday weekend for Mature adults (65+). House was clean well constructed, in safe neighborhood and close to the beach. Kitchen was equipped better than any other we ever rented. The elevator was a god send for getting luggage to the third floor.

We had a lot of fun. The house is nice and clean. The pool is a perfect size for a large group -our kids spent hours in it. Great location - really close to the beach, but also shopping mall is right at the corner.

Perfect Getaway

This home was ideal with lots of space, a nice size pool and the playground for our kids in the backyard and a larger one just a few blocks over. Easy access to the beach and great to have 4 chairs setup everyday waiting for us (included).

Great location, wonderful house!

We LOVED family matters as a wonderful home base for the week with family and friends. There were 21 of us and there was plenty of room for all to eat, lounge, laugh and play. We also greatly appreciated the system and lock on the back door to the pool as we had some younger kiddos. The lounge area was great, the outside area relaxing, and the house just perfect. It was also located a short walk (5 min or so) to the beach - which had 4 chairs set up daily. A wonderful stay. Oh - the outside tiled back walkway from the door to the pool does get slick. Put a towel down so no falls occur!

Great for our trip

The property worked very well for us, the days it rained and couldn't go to the beach we spent in and out of the pool. Plenty of room for all 23 of us!! It did need some additional cleaning when we arrived. Also there is only room for 5 vehicles on the property.
