We loved our stay. The house was perfect for our family! The only hiccup was we were not provided the code to the gate for access to the drive to the house. We had to call in from the gate when we arrived for the code. The outdoor area was perfect. We ate our dinner out on the patio when we ate at home. The family room was nice in the evenings for family card games. I highly recommend the house!

Great House For Large Group

The check in went smooth and the property hosts were very responsive to any questions or needs we had. The kitchen was very well equipped to cook anything our group of eight needed. Great stay

We stay at many VRBOs and this house by far has been the best. Communications with the property manger was timely, the house was extremely clean and the pictures in the listing did not do the property justice. My family was impressed.

Private and quiet

This home is as described in the listing. The views are very nice from the deck. While we were there, we saw deer and a flock of wild turkeys. We enjoyed our stay there very much. Just an item worth mentioning, there are a few stairs going to the master bedroom on the main floor.

Amazing Property!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We met 3 other couples here for a friendship retreat. The place was very comfortable and clean. We LOVED the house and all the space it had for everyone to spread out or gather together. The kitchen was especially wonderful. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars on general condition was because the indoor pool and hot tub were not functional and the internet was unreliable (minor annoyances). The management company was very helpful and responsive to every request and detail. We hope to return and enjoy more time here in the future.
Response from VrboOwner on 21 June 2023
We are so glad you and your friends enjoyed the home! It really is the perfect getaway for friends and family. That is curious about the pool and hot tub as it was serviced just a few days prior to your arrival and working fine. We will get someone out there ASAP to take a look and make sure it is ready for our next guests. We can't wait to host you again!

House is Incredible- NO AC=Hot in July

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I would give this house 10 stars if it had AC. This is by far the nicest vacation rental house I have stayed in to date. However, it does not have AC which is a problem during July. The management company will tell you that it rarely gets above 8o degrees during the summer. Although this may be true; all I know is my room was rarely below 80 degrees during my stay which made for uncomfortable sleepless nights.
Response from VrboOwner on 2 August 2024
Hi Dale, Thanks for your feedback and kind words about the house. We're thrilled to hear that it's the nicest vacation rental you've stayed in so far. However, we're truly sorry that the lack of air conditioning made your stay uncomfortable, especially during those warm July nights. We understand how important a good night's sleep is, and we apologize for the inconvenience you experienced. We'll be sure to share your feedback with the property owner to consider solutions that could improve cooling in the future. We appreciate your understanding and hope to have the chance to provide a more comfortable stay for your next time. Kind regards, -Holly

What a gorgeous home!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What an absolutely gorgeous house! Nestled in the woods high above Durango, the views are spectacular. We loved the spacious kitchen with the large island, perfect for communal cooking and gathering. In the morning and evening, we walked the dirt trails that weave through the peaceful forest surrounding the house, twice spotting an enormous mule buck and a rafter of wild turkeys. The bedrooms are all roomy, with plenty of natural light and a nice-sized adjoining bathroom. The media room was great for watching late-night movies. We would stay there again, and probably will. We had a bit of an issue with the hot tub, but Dillon promptly resolved it.

Amazing family friendly home. You cannot go wrong staying here.

We stayed here for 8 days with our adult children and 2 under 2 grand children. We loved every moment. The deck, the fire pit, kitchen and entire home is immaculate and fantastic. Each room has its own deck, sitting area, walk in closet, mini fridge and keurig. The layout worked perfectly as each family had their own wing of the home. Plenty of space to spread out. The pool was awesome, the hot tub wonderful too. We were sad to leave. The property management company was quick to respond and very helpful. This was the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed at. Absolutely immaculate. Well stocked with appliances, gas grill, plates, cups, etc. I wish I could pick it up and move it everytime we need to rent a Vrbo. It did get warm without air conditioning. Open the windows at night, run the floor and ceiling fans continuously and close the windows and blinds in the morning. It was 95 outside most of our stay and the home was generally in the 70s. We saw turkeys and deer nightly, our sons-in-law saw a bear. Stay here! It’s a true blessing you will remember and treasure forever.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was very well stocked and had everything needed to have a great time. The view was fantastic and hiking around the property on the trails was enjoyed by the entire group. We had 8 ranging from 74 to 21 and everyone loved it. It did get a little warm durning the day but each bedroom had a portable AC that made sleeping better than home. The house was super clean and everything was set up beautifully.
Response from VrboOwner on 7 August 2026
We love that the home was enjoyable to whole group! So glad the trails and views were a hit with everyone, and that the in-room AC units kept things comfortable when the days warmed up. We work hard to keep the house stocked and set up well, so it's great to hear that came through. Thank you for staying with us, and we hope to welcome the whole crew back again! :) -Erika
