We absolutely loved stay at this place , it’s so quiet and peaceful, and the art work throughout the house is amazing , and the 2 dogs at the property are really friendly , loved them , the host is very friendly and helpful, we will definitely go again

The view was spectacular. Comfy beds, fully stocked kitchen, great location for a remote and quiet getaway. We loved the hosts Heather and Wulf and would definitely return! Our kids loved the friendly cats and nearby hiking trails. Highly recommend this beautiful spot.

Lily and Doug have a great place to get away and relax. There is beautiful seanery, hiking and playing board games.

Beautiful property

Came for my 40th birthday. It was the perfect place to celebrate. The domes are enormous , the owners are super nice , and their beautiful dogs are super friendly (with other dogs as well as humans)

Quiet, BIG and just right to unplug

We only stayed a couple of days...but man, what a spot. Do you want to get away to a mountain retreat? This is it. Come fully provisioned and you will be happy taking in the amazing views and the wildlife. We enjoyed this place and recommend it to anyone who is interested.

Remote destination with amazing views

First of all, I would like to say there are few places where you can find this kind of beauty and solitude. The property is secluded and quite, with amazing views from this mountain side retreat. The hosts, Doug and Lily are very nice folks that will make sure that you have everything you need during your stay. From a single guest up to a party of 20, the property is spacious and can host any number of guests. Very peaceful and serene.

Paradise in the National Forest

This is such a cool place to stay. It's in the middle of the national forest and the domes are spacious and unique! There is hardly any traffic on the road and was good for biking and walking with some trails in the vicinity as well. Internet was great so we did get some work done. One afternoon we had a power outage and the very friendly owner took us on a tour of the property. Breathtaking views and interesting history. Property is dog friendly and the two Great Pyrs are friendly. We really enjoyed our stay.

Amazing in the best way possible!

The most stunning place I have ever stayed at. You will feel as if you are all alone in the middle of a forest. The house itself is immense and full of history and views of the area. The hosts are a delight. As the hosts states, go to the store before you drive up and then just relax and unwind. Don't overthink it just go! Truly an amazing place and worth the trip.

Escape to the NM mountains

This lovely, unique dome home was a fantastic place for our family to escape the hustle and bustle of regular life. The sunsets were colorful, and the fall weather was just right for reading on the porch or enjoying a morning cup of coffee. The hosts are friendly and made us feel at home immediately; their two Great Pyrenees and two black cats were just as welcoming. Be sure to know there’s some back road driving and you should pack your things in for the stay. But getting to nearby towns like Cloudcroft for Alamogordo isn’t too bad - and there’s several things to see/do in both!

A true off the grid getaway

Doug was great. Place was what we were looking for. We enjoyed the quietness and relaxation. The stars at night were amazing to see. We spent the whole night looking up and gazing. It was endless. Place is huge with plenty of rooms and beds to accommodate a big family and friends to enjoy. You can spend the day looking at the art on the walls, listening to music, and exploring around the area. Trails everywhere. We drove away on our last day and all agreed we would come back.

Great stay at Domes on mountains

A good place to stay in NM, if you are planning on White Sands trip. Liliane is the best host, gave us a quick tour of the place when we first enter. They where also very proactive communicating via text beforehand. Also offered to lead a hike tour near the area. The view was amazing while driving and staying at this location. Nicko and Rosy are the owners dog and they are amazing. This place has good reviews on other websites as well. Host also offered us some free eggs. When our group went out for the hike the dogs followed us all the way. As they are trained herd dogs. There is 12 miles of unpaved road to get to the location, but we where a group, so we took turns driving. At last, I would definitely recommend this place. Very peaceful place, hidden inside mountains and nature.

Quiet mountain getaway

Gorgeous location, wonderful hosts, unique and welcoming house. I’m not sure what we can say that hasn’t been said already. It’s a beautiful space with everything a group could need. The listing is accurate and the photos don’t do it justice. If you are looking for a spacious, quiet, art-filled scenic getaway in the middle of a forest in the mountains, this is the place for you. The hosts are helpful and responsive and their fabulous dogs accompanied us on our walk in the woods which was awesome. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a lovely dinner that we enjoyed at the massive dining table. We sat in the extraordinarily spacious, fire-warmed living room chatting while watching Lightning overhead through the dome windows. It’s the perfect place to just slow down and enjoy the world around you. A couple of days was all we needed to get a good reset, but we’d love to stay longer next time!
