This stylish place to stay is perfect for group trips or just to kick back and relax.
Walkable to downtown Clarkston that has charming shops and hip restaurants. Great place to hang and relax after the day at Great Lakes Crossing, Legoland, Sea Life, Pine Knob Music Theater & ski resort, Mt. Holly Ski and many state and Metro parks.

Enjoy a full size kitchen & dining room that can seat 10.
This 1500 sq ft home has plenty of space to relax inside or outside with two outdoors patios and outdoor furniture.

Please note: this home has stairs to access the main living areas.

Parking for four cars. Please don’t block the garage or driveways.

We want you to feel at home at the Stone-Mason house with an uninterrupted stay, but if you need anything, we live close by, so please text with any questions or concerns.

Great spot!

My friends and I spent the weekend here reading Onyx Storm and had a great time! The place had everything we could have needed and more. We cooked in, cozied up in the living room, and just had a generally fantastic time. Thanks for the really cozy environment!

We came to town for a wedding at Shepard Hollow, this home was 6 minutes away, and had a great location directly across from a grocery store. The home was so charming, we loved the decor.

Everything You Need!

This place was very sweet and perfectly as described. It had everything needed to make our stay comfortable and like home! Little thoughtful amenities were also provided that made it even better as well! Hosts communicated very well and the area is very pretty. We will definitely stay here again the next time we have family gathering in Clarkston again!

Perfect Clarkston Location

Absolutely loved our stay. Visited my parents who live in downtown Clarkston and it was a perfect distance. Only 3 min drive to town and a 20 minute walk. The house was clean, came with plenty of toiletries, towels, sheets and blankets. We couldn’t have ask for a better more convenient place to stay. Mathew was a wonderful host too. We will definitely book again next year.

Our family traveled by car from NC to visit Michigan family for the Thanksgiving holiday. The location was perfect for our needs. We loved the decor and the cozy touches like arrival snacks and throw blankets. Having some little kiddos with us made the extra offerings like child plates, a mini outdoor play area and books to read a great spot to relax with the whole family. Thanks for the hospitality!

House is beautiful! Host was amazing. Our truck battery was dead and it took us a while to replace it on checkout day. Host totally accommodated us AND offered to help but wouldn't let us pay extra for late checkout. Excellent experience, very kind man. Thank you!

spacious ecclectic home

We stayed at the stone mason house for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was well set up for all ages, with kids' toys and books, swing sets, canoes and kayaks and basketball for the older kids and lots of areas outside to take advantage of. The house was very well equipped for living and well located for travelling around. The town of Clarkson was adorable so make sure you go in and try out Honcho's for some lunch or dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only thing I would point out is that you are close to the main highway, so the deck and the front of the house are quite noisy. But graciously, the homeowners had pointed out before we booked. As we were so busy around town and into Auburn Hills, we didn't use the deck as much, and the noise was manageable. I would recommend the Stone Mason Cottage for small and large families!

There were so many special touches in this unique, vintage farmhouse. From snacks to water to multiple ways to make coffee and the coffee itself, the cute furniture and lamps —what’s not to love? The stairs to the main level are steep and narrow but can be easily navigated with care. There were lots of great books, games, and puzzles, too. We loved the dining table for eating and board games. The host is extremely nice and very responsive. The outdoor space looks nice, too. It was raining during our stay, so we cozied up inside. We will be back.
