Our family had a very wonderful stay at Masood’s lodge. We got a big room for 8 and the family enjoyed our stay together. The place is nestled around beautiful trees and right beside a river, it was relaxing and tranquil. Masood was funny and kind.

I would go back, but not in the main house unless they resolve the soundproofing. The main house is directly attached to their office, and unfortunately, the noise from the office carried straight through the wall. It often felt like the conversations—both phone and in-person—were happening inside our cabin. They became family without knowing it! :)
Thankfully, the office quieted down by around 10 PM, but until then it was difficult to relax, and my wife couldn’t get to sleep early because the master bedroom shares a wall with the office. If you’re a light sleeper or looking for peace and quiet before 10 PM, I’d recommend asking for a unit away from the main house.
The owners were really nice, and very accommodating, but were not very self-aware they shared a wall with the family occupying that unit.
This is the most disgusting and false advertisement of a location I have ever experienced from VRBO. The lodge is connected to the front office by a “door” that is a thin board that doesn’t even fit the door frame. You can see directly into the office with the door closed. There is a curtain covering it but once you move it, you see the owner, or whoever is in the open, unlocked, office standing there. It opens directly into the room which is also a bedroom since there AIS only one bedroom with a door. The office is filled with cheap alcohol bottles, and the owner was most definitely drunk. The lodge itself was beyond disgusting, sticky, dilapidated and absolutely horrid. I felt incredibly unsafe with my young daughter there and refused to stay. The owner started yelling at my husband and made a huge scene. During this time one of the residents who lives there (yes, it seems that people live in Some of the trailers on the property) came over and started talking about being on section 8 and wanting to move to another trailer. She was very clearly on drugs. It was a nightmare. We called VRBO and the agent heard the owner yelling at my husband. He agreed to give us a refund but I haven’t seen it come through so I had to stop payment through my bank. He also sent a harassing message to me after saying he’s never had anything like this happen. I googled his name and found tons of reviews from other sites with the same accusations. The VRBO reviews are false. Stay FAR away.
