The Redwood House is a great retreat place to relax and even work with the whole family! You can work in Silicon Valley, but live in nature! Only a 35 minute drive to Apple and many neighboring tech companies. Starting with a relaxing king bed suite and clawfoot tub, this unique and tranquil mountain retreat is nestled among the redwoods of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Find yourself cozy by a fireplace, relaxing under a gazebo, or doing yoga overlooking the redwoods. Location is a hikers paradise as it backs up to lower Castle Rock and Big Basin National Park and many of the best hiking trails in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Kid and pet friendly with a fully gated and fenced property.

For security of our guests: We have a single Ring camera that faces externally toward the driveway and front door to assure safety of our guests and property. This will be on for the duration of your stay as a safety measure. We DO NOT record, it is purely to make sure you are safe during your visit and to assist if you have any issues. Thanks! We can disarm if you are uncomfortable with it, but it will be armed for your arrival so we can ensure you and guests gain access to the property safely and the property is safe while vacated. Cozy mountain retreat

This property is a lovely retreat under the redwoods. It is well outfitted for families and cooking together, with laundry. Beds are comfortable. Be prepared to learn some technology and make fires in wood stove for heat.

Perfect space to explore the Redwoods

We loved staying in this beautiful house nestled in a dizzying skyline of redwoods..The chef's kitchen was ideal for us and on one occasion, when we had trouble figuring out the TV volume, the owner got back to me within a minute. (The surround sound will make you feel like you're in a movie theatre). We also loved the copper bath, the fire pit outside and driving around the local area. The local town, Boulder Creek felt like a movie set and the supermarkets sell high end organic produce and great wines. We will return!
