Had a wonderful relaxing week at Edistar. Found the accommodations cozy and loved hanging out on the porch listening to the sea. Best part was the easy walk to the beach. Great layout and location for family and small child!

We’ve spent 27 summers in Edisto and have never stayed this far down the island, but we are so happy we did! The house is in a fantastic location — easy to get in and out of the driveway, a quick walk to the beach, and perfect for golf cart rides. We were thrilled to see how short the walk was to the beach, and the access was completely flat with no drop-off.The backyard was perfect for our dogs to play ball, and we felt completely safe letting them enjoy it. We loved the porches and the way the windows opened to let the breeze flow through the closed in porch. Everything was well equipped, spacious, and clean, with all the comforts we needed for a relaxing stay.We had a wonderful, peaceful, and truly enjoyable time!

This is a beautiful home! It is in a quiet, peaceful area with very easy access to the beach. The kitchen has just about everything you might ever need for whatever you're preparing after a day in the sun. Coffee on the deck in the morning was delightful and the downstairs swing very relaxing in the evening breeze. Colleen was quick to respond to our questions & check-in was super easy. We really enjoyed our stay at Edistar!

Great stay

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The sun room and the large deck were great for quality family time. The location was unbeatable. It was only a short walk to the beach and we were close to great restaurants and shops. This beach house truly felt like a home away from home. We left with wonderful memories and are already looking forward to returning.

Great beach rental.

We loved the proximity to the beach. The house was furnished with everything we needed. The sunroom was a delightful bonus and convenient space for our dog to stay when we were on the beach during the day.

Family Spring Break

We had a wonderful time! The split floor plan was wonderful for our family and the fenced in yard a great benefit for our dogs. So nice to be so close to the beach with a toddler and dogs, and the quiet street made it even less stressful managing all the things.

Great Stay at 2804

We had a great stay. The house was setup well for us and our two dogs. The yard is large enough for our dogs to run around. The property is close enough to the beach to hear the surf and the back deck is on a quiet street. The kitchen was well equipped and the house was very clean.

Edi-Star is a Star!

Great house for our family. We enjoy the floor plan of an older beach house and this home is being updated without loosing it's charm. The fenced yard is a great feature! Hope to return soon.

Colleen was fabulous to work with! We had a peaceful and relaxing stay.

This property was perfect! Colleen was always available if a question came up. It was a perfect for my mom, my daughter and myself - a girl trip! Just a short walk to the beach - which was wonderful for my mom. We enjoyed sitting on the covered porch and read. We made some wonderful memories!

The best of all you're looking for in Edisto

This home is pet friendly, close to beach access, close to Whaley's, and the busy side (Palmetto) is fenced in for safety (think children/pets) but with very low traffic on the other. Sheets/towels provided, which makes life easier, and lots of games and beach toys for kids. Layout of the house is great too. Will definitely return...thanks so much to the owners!

Thanks, Barry, for the review, you had a hot week, and that room is definetly hot. We have in the past explored air conditioning it but are told with all the windows it's just not feasible as it is. We hope to host you again, thank you for taking care of it for us!
