Laurent is a terrific host -- very fast communications and very helpful with late checkin, early checkout, and Qs about the thermostat. Street parking was surprisingly plentiful, and the beds were very comfortable. Very clean home and a nice stay. I should have noticed in the description that there is a no-shoe policy -- I prefer to wear slippers v barefoot -- but it wasn't a big problem. Thank you!
Immaculate accommodations, lovely furnishings, beautiful artwork lots of interesting books to read, comfortable beds,Lovely outdoor chairs and table, gorgeous flower beds with roses already! So close to what we wanted to do in Portland and so comfortable! We hope to reserve it again for our next trip to Portland. And did I mention the wonderful kitchen to work in furnished with all utensils needed to cook meals.
House was clean and well maintained. The neighborhood is not a desirable place to walk to a meal, but the inside of the home was very nice. It’s actually 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms which is a bit bigger than expected. Thank you for sharing the home, Laurent!
We especially liked being able to walk to so many fun places to eat and get coffee. Laurent (host) provided us with helpful recommendations on restaurants. He was very responsive to my other inquiries before and during our stay. Check in and out was so simple. The home was very clean, comfortable, fairly quiet, and nicely decorated. There is a shoes off at the door policy which seems to be keeping the carpet looking like new and the wooden floors shiny. Full size washer and dryer worked great. Could have used another big bowl for mixing in the kitchen, but otherwise the kitchen was stocked with essentials. Grocery store is within walking distance.Wonderful place to stay!
Our host, Laurent, was VERY responsive when we had questions. Our place was clean and in a very walkable neighborhood (French pastries! Natural foods groceries! Excellent pizza! Even an exceptional fabric store…)We would happy stay there again.
Check in was super easy as was check out! Laurent was available any time I asked something, super attentive. The location is perfect as Alberta Street is one of our favorite places to shop and it's easily walkable. The house is large and feels like your staying at a relatives house with tons of space for everyone. This was our second stay at this property we liked it so much!
