Beautiful lodge, 4 king bedrooms, all with private baths! 5 decks to enjoy.

This 4 bedroom, 4.5 bath, 3 story North Georgia home is over 3,000 square feet and is located approximately halfway between Dillard, Georgia and Highlands, NC. It has a wood burning fireplace and a fireplace with gas logs on the second floor living/dining area with a beautiful fully equipped kitchen, The 3,900 feet elevation provides wonderful summer temperatures, Bring your whole family to enjoy the serenity of the North Georgia Mountains. It is a great location for a reunion with family or friends.

On the first level of our home is a large stone floored great room with a stone fireplace, equipped with gas logs, and a king bedroom with a full bath. The bedroom has double french doors opening out to a private covered patio. The great room contains a couch for extra sleeping space.

The second floor which is very open and spacious contains the living area, dining area and kitchen. Both the living area has and dining area contain stone wood burning fireplaces the dining area fireplace is equipped with gas logs.i. They contain 3 sets of double french doors opening to covered porches, heart pine floors and 9-foot ceilings. The living area has 2 full size couches and a chaise lounge.

The dining room seats 8 with additional seating at the island in the kitchen or outside on the 2 covered porches where you can enjoy the scenic Blue Valley Mountain view. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. This floor also contains a half bath.

The top level of our lodge opens up into a bright and cheerful sunroom which contains a day bed with a pullout trundle which pops up and makes an additional king bed if needed. Opening off of the sunroom are 3 king bedrooms which all have private baths. The master and the sunroom open up to a covered porch where you may want to sit and read a book or just enjoy the mountain views.

As on the second floor you have the heart pine floors & 9' ceilings. Lots of windows and French doors allow you to enjoy the scenic mountains whether inside or out.

My guests have access to the pool, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, sauna, tennis courts, and work out facilities at Sky Valley Resort which is approximately 2 miles from the cabin.


Take advantage of the shopping and wonderful restaurants in the quaint towns of Highlands and Dillard. Visit nearby waterfalls and hiking trails. Rabun County is home to Lake Rabun and Lake Burton which have boat rentals or feel free to bring your own. There is also summer rafting and tubing nearby. In the winter, Scaly Mountain, NC provides snow tubing which is only 3 miles from our home.

Sapphire Valley Ski Resort in NC features great snow skiing, snowboarding and is located less than an hour away. Enjoy the solitude of this lodge yet you are just off the state road with a paved driveway. Only 2 hours from Atlanta.
