Huge apartment for large families, friends and pets!

A very special apartment awaits you in this historic building, 170 square meters in size, with tall windows in all directions bright and friendly. The solid wooden floorboards in all rooms and the over 3-meter-high walls make them an exceptionally pleasant accommodation, as well as the stylish individual furnishings.
We offer plenty of space for a large family or for a meeting with friends, also extra babies (free for 2 years and under) and pets are welcome.
You will find a cozy living-dining room with stunning views south across meadows on the Tauber and Gamburg, two spacious double bedrooms, a single bedroom, a living / bedroom to the south-west with two sofa beds for any other guests, an excellent equipped kitchen, two large daylight bathrooms with shower and toilet and a separate toilet.
Maximum seven people + babies can live here, baby equipment is available, dogs are allowed.
In winter, the apartment is heated with a central, automatically controlled pellet stove and two modern wood-burning stoves in the two outer rooms. The heating material is provided. In the basement are washing machine and dryer.
Directly in front of the house you will find an idyllic, green and fenced garden, for which we provide sun loungers, tables and chairs as well as barbecue.
The historic station building was built in 1868 from massive red sandstone on oak trunks, detached in a secluded location on the edge of the village Gamburg. Today it is under monument protection.
From August 2017 we rent it for holidays if we do not enjoy it ourselves.
The ground floor of the building is not yet renovated.

The village of Gamburg, with its immediate location on the Tauber, the well-preserved medieval castle and its park, the lower castle, museum and church is a pearl of the Tauber Valley. The station is still stop, 9-10 times a day, the regional Westfrankenbahn runs here between Wertheim and Lauda, ​​the last stops at half past nine, at night there is no train.
On foot you can reach in 10 minutes. an organic farm shop and a food court, in the main town Werbach (6km) is a larger grocery, butchers and several restaurants.

The nearest neighbor is the monastery Bronnbach with its diverse cultural offer; the next - very worth seeing - cities are Wertheim and Tauberbischofsheim.

The station is close to the excellent cycle paths of the lovely Tauber valley and the many hiking trails. From here lure excursions in the cultural environment and the beautiful, mountainous and wooded nature; also canoe tours on the idyllic Tauber. Bronnbach, Wertheim and Tauberbischofsheim are directly accessible from the train station, so you can also return from your bike rides by train.

The station has no direct neighbors. The company Naturstein-Hofmann works opposite the railway tracks. You can romp here with the kids or make music as you want.
There is a private parking space in front of the house and a ground floor storage room for bicycles.

Have you always wanted a natural swimming pond? Here you have a natural river 150m on your doorstep, deep and clean, hardly any current.

The Castle Gamburg offers beautiful sightseeing on the weekends, other castles and palaces can be found in the immediate vicinity.
