Here at Twisted Creek Hideaway, prepare for sheer excitement when you arrive at your own authentic country cabin escape. Positioned at the end of our country road, you'll be greeted by a rustic and authentic log home just waiting for you to unpack, settle in and get into the swing of mountain living.

This large 4 bedroom, 3 bath home is the perfect place for big families and friends to come together and enjoy the great outdoors. The spacious common rooms are furnished with oversized sofas and seating for you and your group to kick back, relax and enjoy each other's company. There's a beautiful sitting room just inside the sidefront door and a large family room with a flat-screen tv and a large stone wood-burning fireplace. It would be difficult to find a place more cozy or comfortable with rustic touches like these. Our shared rooms were specifically designed to be the ideal setting for families to gather, play games, host movie nights and spend time chatting way past bedtime.

With all the exploring and adventuring you'll be doing, you're bound to get a little messy. No worries there, we've got you covered with a full-size washer and dryer, so you won't need to worry about running out of gear or dragging dirty clothes home.

*Just don't spend too much time doing laundry. You're on vacation, remember?

We loved the house. It was perfect for our family and the yard is great for small children because it is large and flat. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked. We enjoyed the front porch and especially the fire pit. I wish we could have had a longer stay to explore the property more.

Fantastic Property

This cabin is a gem! We stayed here with our 6 young kids and had a fantastic week. We highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Ellijay.

Great house. We loved the property and how private it was. Our dogs loved running around in the large field. The creek offered lovely soothing sounds. The fire pit and hot tub were also both very nice. Beds were comfortable and all the rooms were spacious. The communication was quick and very responsive when needed. Would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed this rustic cabin with its old time charm and great location. It’s beautifully decorated and has a large kitchen / dining area. The outside is beautiful and would be perfect for a family to enjoy with its large property and small creek.

A modern renovation of an old beautiful cabin

The place was in top-notch condition, without losing the charm of the cabin. The property was beautiful, and we really enjoyed the outdoor area. It was very close to the city but still felt rustic and serene. Would stay again.

Perfect Getaway!

We had three families stay together and this house was perfect! There is plenty of room for everyone and the cabin has everything you need! We enjoyed many nights playing games around the kitchen table and making s’mores around the fireplace. The property sits on a big open field which is great for running around and breweries/wineries are all relatively close by, making for a fun filled week!

This house has plenty of space for everyone! Our kids enjoyed all of the outdoor space and the brook. The kitchen was much bigger and accommodating than the pictures :) plenty of room to cook!

Perfect for large or multi family stays

We just stay over 4th of July week with a large party of 10. The house worked out perfectly for our two families. The kids loved the bunk room, playing by the creek and exploring their large property. Another great family trip! Thank you!

Cabin was very accommodating. The 7 of us were very comfortable. Only issue was a bear got in the trash and one bag is still up on the hill behind the cans because we couldn’t get to it.

Buy the insurance

Unfortunately I didn’t and ended up having emergency surgery 1 week before our trip. I reached out to see if we could reschedule and without insurance was basically told no. Didn’t want to loose the money so made the trip despite my recent surgery. What was suppose to be a family get away was a bust. I would have appreciated some grace under the circumstances. Cabin was very nice.. it could have been a great trip. 7 acres isn’t ‘secluded’ as I would have expected but it was nice had I been able to enjoy it.

Secluded with everything you need

Beautiful secluded area with plenty of space for family fun. Love the homey feeling when I walked in the house. Got to see deer both evenings returning for the night. Most of all, everything was supplied such as toilet paper, soap and shampoo plus much more.

Nice quiet getaway

This cabin getaway met all of our expectations. The cabin was very clean and in a quiet and secluded area. The rooms were all comfortable and the cabin was well stocked with essentials for our stay. The kids enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, the small creek and the large yard. The board games were fun for a rainy day as well!

Originally from Texas, now living in Nashville, we bought Twisted Creek Hideaway because we were looking for a place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and give our kids the space to explore and roam free. We fell in love with Ellijay, and this beautiful mountain retreat, because it’s the perfect place to pack up our kids our golden retriever and spend our days chasing waterfalls and getting muddy in the great outdoors. It just feels like the way life is meant to be lived, and we want to share that sense of freedom and this incredible space with other families looking for the same kind of adventure.
