About this property

Little Lake House at Lake Gaston

About this Space
Newly renovated cozy cottage/ Small, simple, and serene. Enjoy panoramic lake views, new furniture, cozy beds, new HVAC, new laundry, a workstation and updated kitchen/baths. You’re steps from the water’s edge on a quiet cove with everything you need for outdoor living:new multi-tier deck with plenty of outdoor seating, gas grill, new two-story boathouse, a fleet of kayaks, cornhole and more! Perfect couple retreat or family vacation.

The Space
This home is a converted 1960’s mobile home equipped with a large addition and new appointments. It may be small and it may be old, but it’s thoughtfully equipped, stylish and serene. The home has two small bedrooms. Bedroom 1 is filled by a queen bed and has incredible lake views. Bedroom 2 has bunk beds, perfect for kids and comfy for adults. There are two full baths. The kitchen has been reconfigured to be open and bright with stainless appliances, white cabinets, a center island and a large dining table- perfect for late night card games or working a puzzle on a rainy day. The kitchen opens to a large living room with ample seating and wall-to-wall windows overlooking the lake. The space is airy aa=nd full of natural light. THere is a large sectional sofa, a loveseat, a daybed, and a 58- inch Roku TV. The daybed includes new mattresses and a trundle beneath to allow your group to spread out (or just do some quality napping). There is a small workstation with a desk and chair for those who choose to work remotely. There is also a new washer and dryer for your laundry needs.

Outdoors you’ll find a three-tier deck outfitter with lounge chairs, a picnic table, a gas grill and a sectional sofa. We have a fleet of boots: 1 Tandem kayak, 2 single kayaks, 2 child-size kayaks/paddle boards, a stand-up paddleboard and a canoe. There is an assortment of life jackets. For those who prefer friendly competition, there are cornhole boards as well.

Finally, the new two-story boathouse is the perfect place for your lake adventures. There is a dining area downstairs with extra seating for lounging and fishing. Upstairs includes lounge chairs for sunbathing and a great view of Goat Island. While the boat and lift are off-limits, there is ample room to park a boat on either side of the dock, and a small boat ramp on the property. Toss the 18’ floating mat into the water for hours of fun and relaxation.

The home is located on an acre of land at the end of a gravel road surrounded by country fields and forest- expect to see deer, local chickens, and our resident blue heron. Still, you are less than 10 minutes from downtown Littleton’s restaurants, stores, coffee shop, and groceries.

This home is cozy, comfortable, clean and cute - a perfect place to gather, unplug, and connect with your friends and loved ones.

A little pause…
We were really needing a little break from our busy days. Although our stay came with full rainy days and storms, we thoroughly enjoyed the family room and the views out to the lake. It was nice having several seating options to relax and read a book or watch a movie. The dock is a 10 out of 10. We did get to enjoy a few hours lounging, fishing, and paddle boarding. This is a sweet little getaway.

Beautiful location
We had a wonderful time staying at this lake house. The house has absolutely everything that you could think off, extra towels, phone chargers, even batteries. This is probably one of the cleanest vacation properties we have stayed at. The house have plenty of room for our family of four. The location absolutely beautiful, views of the lake from the entire back of the house. The two level boat dock was absolutely one of our most favorite things about this property, plenty of room and areas to sit, a paddleboard, kayaks, and a floating mat. What more do you need to have a wonderful time by the water. We are already planning our visit for next year.

Lovely little lake retreat
The description of this property is very accurate. The main trailer is older, but was spotlessly clean. The kitchen and bedrooms suited our needs. The real stars of the show are the sunroom and of course the outside areas. You have privacy, along with many seating options to enjoy the views of the lake - the upper deck being my particular favorite. I took a kayak out on the lake both days. Not being a very accomplished paddler, the seclusion from the jetskis and motorboats, which keep to the main body of the lake, was very welcome. There is a dock next door which has seen better days but it was still in use when we were there and actually added to the non intrusive community vibe. We loved our stay.
