Lakefront sleeps 14: Swim floats , hammocks, fire pit, grill, yard games
Welcome to Pavilion Point, our childhood home on Lake Tillery, a 14 mile long, all sport lake. Please note our home is NOT PET FRIENDLY. Your hosts are 3 sisters who want to preserve our family home. It is our pleasure to share it with you to enjoy the beautiful lake, and the quiet peaceful surroundings. You have full access to fishing rods, large pad float, 2 large umbrellas, and folding chairs for the pier. Our house is located on the open channel, a very rare rental to find. So you get to enjoy all the passing boats and swim right at the dock. There is a ramp for easily launching your canoe, paddle boards and kayak (you are welcome to bring those). We have a pole docking system that will accommodate 1 boat. I'm sorry, we are not able to accommodate multiple boats and please do tie up a boat to our dock posts. The poles are 20 ft apart and can accommodate a boat between 16 ft and 24 ft- approximately. You will launch your boat at the Swift Island Boat Ramp (3 miles drive) or Lilly's Bridge (10 mile drive). Or you can rent a pontoon boat from Lily's bridge Marina. If you want a guided pontoon boat tour on the lake, that is available and I can share the contact with you. The home is immaculate and well maintained, situated on over 3 acres with 500' of pristine waterfront ready for your enjoyment. Lake views from all common areas and 3 of the 4 bedrooms, and sunrise views year-round. The sunset will light the entire lake orange in the evenings! Unique features of the lake house are endless. • There are 2 full kitchens • 1 Desk for school or work while relaxing at the lake • LARGE paved driveway and carport parking • Boat trailer parking on property • Lake front fire pit area (bring fire logs and wood) or gather the from our wooded area • Large Blackstone griddle grill -please refill gas and clean grill. • Dock chairs, umbrella, life jackets, floats, large floating mat “Lilly Pad”, fishing rods. • 20’ x 20’ screened in porch! • Blink outdoor video security system for your safety • Walmart and Grocery stores (Aldi, Food Lion, Harris Teeter) 10-15 min drive • Morrow Mountain State park 10 min drive • Uwharrie National Forrest/park 10 min drive • Many local wineries • Albemarle and Norwood have cute downtown areas with breweries and dining.

We really enjoyed the wonderful view from the screened porch and deck. The house was very comfortable. We could really enjoy hanging out there with our extended family. We were able to cook for a crowd because the kitchen was so well stocked with pots and pans and even an instant pot. We loved having the extra oven and refrigerator in the 2nd kitchen.
We stayed here for a small family reunion with about 10 people in a variety of age ranges. The multiple living areas, easy dock access (even with kayaks, paddles and life vests!), screened porch, and full kitchen made it a perfect vacation as there was ample space and things for everyone to do. Shelly responded to all of our messages promptly and made sure that we had clear guidelines on everything.

Thank you for planning your family gathering at Pavilion Point!
Our family of 5 and dog had an absolutely awesome 6 night stay at Pavilion Point. The house is much larger than the pictures imply. Having two sitting areas was great and the kids loved the Wii. The kitchen was well stocked and I didn't mind cooking while being able to view the lake. Morning and evening's view were so enjoyable. Had fun swimming from the dock, fishing and launching our canoe. The screen porch was my favorite and had plenty of room. Very close to stores if you need something.

Thank you for visiting. For future guests, our home is no longer pet friendly.
We loved this 4 day getaway. The access to the water was very easy. Fishing off the dock was nothing but pure joy for us. We recently have been learning how to fish. We looked like dang pros out there! That’s all we did was fish and rode around checking out other houses (I’m a realtor). We watched the sunsets, got up to see the sunrises…the quietness felt like a soft blanket. I loved the fenced in backyard for My Huckleberry Finn (little shorty Jack Russell). We had some good meals off that blackstone grill! Nothing but good! We slept good, ate good and fished! Just the best. Thank you much for sharing your home!

Granddaughter's Birthday Getaway
We were celebrating my granddaughter's15th birthday here over the weekend. She and 3 of her friends as well as her mom and dad stayed at the house. Sleeping arrangements were perfect. My son and his wife had one bedroom, we had one, Abby's boyfriend slept in the room between us and we put all the girls upstairs with their own bathroom.
We had a marshmallow roast one night which was awesome to be able to do that again.
The kids said the only drawback was that the water wasn't really deep enough for swimming.... they didn't like the mushy feeling on the bottom of the lake. Other than that, it was a perfect weekend.

So glad you all had a great weekend at Pavilion Point! The water is usually 7 feet deep off the end of the pier and deeper if you swim out some. To get out at the ladder, it is 4 feet and you could touch the bottom there getting out. We always swim at the end of the pier without touching the bottom.
We rented this house for a military ceremony for my husband with the NC Air National Guard. The view is incredible! I loved it morning and night. We loved the 2 kayaks and canoe! The trees were turning and gorgeous! We were able to cook meals which was great. Only 2 steps up to the house so it was easy for my aunt to get up with her walker. The downstairs bathroom is also accessible. I called with a few questions and got a quick response. Very friendly owners with a love of their childhood home. Perfect for a quiet trip on the water!!
Our Family was happy with the property. We will be excited to come again. The easy access to the lake for swimmers was great. Anything we needed was promptly addressed as 2022 was the first summer of VRBO for this lovely property!
Thank you, Shelly, for letting us rent your family's home for Mother's day. It had everything we could have thought of for the stay. You thought of everything all the way down to towels. It was clean, comfortable, coazy and everything works as advertised. Thank you again for being such a great host, answering questions and being available at a moments notice. Looking forward to many more times there!
