Come to Blue Ridge and let it all soak off. Quiet, well-appointed and modern cabin, full of fine amenities and luxury decor, but retaining all you want in a mountain getaway. Comfortable beds, 1000 thread count sheets, premium, new kitchen ware and appliances, right on the Benton McKaye Trail, hot tub, babbling brook, large Weber BBQ and large table, stylish and luxurious decor, and a large desk (with printer) for remote workspace.

Please note, there are security cameras on the exterior of the building, but they are turned off upon guest check in.

Great place

Cabin was just as described. Great location secluded and still close to town. We go to blue ridge 2-3 times a year, and has been our favorite cabin and plan to stay again!

Beautiful Cabin

The directions initially got us lost on the mountain (you have to put the city as Cherry Log, not Blue Ridge), but once we found it, it was a very nice cabin. Beds were comfortable and the Christmas tree and lights were a great touch. I wasn’t a fan of the TV as we wanted to watch the College Bowl games and local channels weren’t available, but I know most people aren’t there to watch TV, and I was able to find a solution. Hot tub was nice and the downstairs suite was amazing.

My kind of cabin

Beautiful cabin, great design and use of materials. Well stocked with top of the line kitchen appliances, for example all the pots are LeCreuset and they have a microplaner, garlic press and lemon press. Just things you don't see at a rental but we happily used! The fireplaces were delightful and so was the hot tub! It's a more refined cabin than most, no cheesy bear decor here.

Perfect place for peace and quiet

The cabin was fantastic, pictures do not do it justice. Close enough to everything but far enough away from main roads to be very peaceful. Will definitely be going back again.

We're already planning "next time!"

We are already thinking about when we can come back. Our only complaint from our family's few days here was that it was blazing hot out, so we never got a chance to use the hot tub, fire pit or fireplaces. This cabin is is the most well-equipped, well-appointed cabins we have stayed in (caveat - pack your own shampoo, etc. No personal toiletries other than hand soap was stocked). Especially in the kitchen, everything we needed was there. We're looking forward to a Fall or Spring getaway next!

Overall good trip with one caveat

I booked this property for a romantic birthday trip with my partner. We were looking for seclusion and privacy. We enjoyed the cabin, the sound of the creek, the kitchen and all of the amenities. The location is exactly what we were looking for. The cabin is very well appointed and obviously well maintained. During our stay, we were surprised and very concerned to see several outdoor cameras, including one pointed at the hot tub, which were not disclosed at the time of our booking. Since our stay, the listing has been updated to reflect the presence of outdoor cameras. That small detail would have been very helpful when I was trying to decide what cabin to book for our getaway.

Beyond expectations.

I don’t normally write reviews. But I feel the need to express the serenity this cabin brings you. Our stay was very short, but this cabin felt like home away from home. Anything you needed, it was there. Pictures don’t do it any justice. And my older kids have never laughed so hard playing hide and seek with a 2 year old. Lots of places to hide. Safety was not a concern at all with loving doors and a provided baby gate. The kitchen was WELL equipped with anything you could possibly need. And Ron made finding and checking in, as easy as possible. And was available anytime to answer any questions. We are already talking about going back and staying longer. Even the neighbors and their furry children were welcoming ☺️

Perfect Getaway!

The house is gorgeous with so many extra touches. If you’re looking for privacy and quiet within a short drive to everything you could possibly need or want, this is the perfect home. We loved having the Benton MacKaye Trail right at the base of the driveway. The house is a bit hard to find, but if you follow the owner’s instructions, you shouldn’t have any problems. Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your beautiful home!
