Beautiful cabin on the Toccoa River. Loved sitting on the back porch listening to the water. The kitchen is well stocked with a real coffee maker! Bedrooms and bathrooms are very comfortable. We liked the cabin so much that we scheduled a return triip before we even left.
My husband and I spend the weekend here for my birthday. Cabin was spotless, comfortable and so quiet. The sound of the river was just what I needed to relax. Make sure to visit downtown Ellijay for great food and a variety of shops. Definitely want to return!
This lovely cabin was just the ticket for a quality visit with my son. We talked, cooked, and thoroughly enjoyed the solitude. The cabin was very cozy and well-appointed. We really had a great time staying here!
Beautiful property tucked away on the river! The cabin is great! It felt cozy and just right. Plenty of room inside and out. Perfect location to be close enough to town but also feel away from it all!
This was our fourth year here and we have no desire to look elsewhere. House is clean, all the amenities you need, and very peaceful. Already looking forward to next year. Five stars!
We decided quickly that this was our favorite place we had stayed in using Vrbo. The river and view from the porch were both peaceful and like listening to a recording of water over the rocks. Coffee on the porch was enjoyed each morning. The cabin was very comfortable and clean. We do plan to come back for fall and Christmas in the future. This was a wonderful get away with good roads and easy access.
This cabin is everything you could want and more! It is beautiful, the fireplace works great as well as the hot tub. And it is located directly on a creek with rapids, the sound of the water is so soothing. The back screened in porch is the perfect spot for that morning cup of coffee. We stayed here for our wedding anniversary and went back for my 50th birthday. Highly recommend!!
As soon as I got out of the car and heard the water I instantly felt tranquility. The cabin is beautiful and true to its description. I think this is our 1st rental that we didn't have to worry about gas for the grill, enough firewood and a screen porch that didn't have tons of holes in it allowing bugs. The location is perfect being secluded and private but close enough to other cabins/town in the event you need something. Many things to do in the area. Seen a lot of wildlife and laughed the first morning there hearing a cow off in the distance. You don't hear that in the city. We'd definitely recommend anyone to stay here. Our only hiccup and it is MY error for not paying attention to it was both entrances have stairs. We both have minor limitations and we struggled with the stairs. Other than that, it was perfect.
We were very excited to stay at this property because of the creek side yard, as well as the wonderful reviews on it. Although the cabin was clean and neat, we found it to be very dark, dated, and in need of serious TLC. The furniture, decor, curtains are all dated and worn/faded. As clean as the cabin was, the main living area has so many fake plants/ivy that are dusty and old. The blinds were also dusty. The bathroom fixtures, toilet seats, etc. are all in need of replacement; the hall bath toilet required you to hold the handle down in order for it to flush completely. There were no additional towels provided in the bathrooms...just one towel set per person. We do not mind bringing extra, but nothing in the description suggested to do so. We have rented numerous cabins in the No. GA area and never had this happen before. It seems like this property is company owned/managed and we did not feel that there was any personal care that has been taken of the property in a very long time. To the point, the entire house, between the screens and trim are all coated with spider webs. Additionally, the fence is rotted and falling apart; many sections were laying on the ground. The backyard was well mowed, however, there is a dangerous area right near the stairs to the water, that is easy to trip and fall into because of holes near the tree roots...another area that could use TLC. This location has the potential to be amazing, but, in our opinion, it needs a lot of love to get there.
We love it there! We plan on coming 2 weeks next year!

The property was as advertised. Lovely location, quiet and peaceful. However, what was not noted unless I had missed it was that the entire home smelled of dog presence which made it very uncomfortable for my wife.It was very obvious walking into the property that one or more dogs had been there in the past and why this was not rectified is difficult to comprehend. Particularly, the furniture should have been replaced and the entire place sprayed or whatever to be done to fix the very apparent problem. If I were the owner of this beautiful property i would spend the money to fix the problem before rentingit again. Leaving it "as is" is not worth the rental. I believe I should be reimbursed for the inconvenience.
Everything about this place is exactly what we were looking for. It's not hours of gravel roads from civilization but it feels that way once you're there. We were able to sit by the fire and the river at the same time! I would book this cabin 1,00 more times :)
