Melissa's property is a lush oasis in the middle of the high New Mexico desert. The house is filled with antiques and art and feels like you've traveled back in time. If you like to cook, you'll love working with her collection of old and very functional kitchen ware. It's a great spot for a writer looking for soothing peaceful surroundings or a family with kids and a dog to play in the yard and have plenty of room to roam. This location is convenient to all downtown Taos has to offer. It was a wonderful stay.

Everything was as expected. This is a peaceful property. It was nice to be out of town in a calm, relaxed environment. My dogs were welcomed and they enjoyed the dog run. All the flowers and grounds are beautiful. We would be happy to rent here again if we are ever in Taos with our dogs again.

Mid October stay. The house was very comfortable and large enough for us and our son and daughter in law. We liked the seclusion, the outdoor fireplace and indoor kiva. House was well stocked with everything needed in the kitchen and bathrooms.

Cutest property

We had a wonderful stay, it’s a beautiful property and has a lot of quirky art. We loved the hot tub and the house is super cute. We also had a cute barn kitty keep us company. Close to town, really lovely.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at your precious, cozy, beautiful home. We only had two nights there and wish we had more. We felt so relaxed the whole time and loved sitting by the fires (both in and out) and in the hot tub. The gardens and grounds were gorgeous. We highly recommend this special gem!

The most perfect spot. We enjoyed returning to this 2-acre paradise after first discovering it 7 years ago. The house and amenities couldn't be better. If in the Taos area, seriously consider this "best of both worlds" (rural yet so close to town) location.
