My family and I had a lovely time at this rustic lake front home. It was spacious enough to accommodate 7 of us and the kids enjoyed taking the kayaks out on the water and fishing from the dock. There is a large deck with a huge table and plenty of seating. We enjoyed looking out onto the water from there. I was going to bring my dog, she is an anxious rescue dog who’s getting a little older. When I saw the spiral staircase in the pictures, I wasn’t sure if she would climb them or not. Once I saw them in person, I knew there was no way she would have, so I’m glad I didn’t bring her. There is another staircase outside that can be used if someone finds themselves in a similar situation.
Our family enjoyed the view! The beds were comfy had plenty of Linen's for all of us. Kids enjoyed the kayaks. Host was quick to respond and help with any issues.
Just a short hop from Rochester, Honeoye Lake is a perfect get-away without a long drive. Everything we needed was on the property. Kayaks, fire pit (along with a woodpile), outdoor grill, inner tubes for floating in the lake, indoor games, linens so we didn’t have to bring, and plenty of space for a family of 6 to get some personal time when needed. GREAT escape!
