This beautiful Gulf Dunes Resort condo has everything you will need. Located on Okaloosa Island in Fort Walton Beach, you will be minutes from the Crab Trap, Fishing Pier, and all of the Destin attractions. This 3 bedroom unit comes complete with a direct ocean view from the bedroom and the living room balconies. Not too high, and not too low, you'll have a 3rd level view of the most sought after attraction in the South East, the Emerald Coastline. The white powdery sand is like no other along the Gulf of Mexico, and you can enjoy it while relaxing in the Beach Chairs included with your rental. We take credit cards, and everything is paid in advance; so by the time you arrive, all you have to worry about is putting on your sunscreen.

Okaloosa Island is conveniently located 1 mile from the new convention center, 2 miles from Fort Walton, and only 6 miles from Destin.

We offer Free wireless high speed Internet connection, so bring your laptop and surf away! There is nearby golf, as well as putt putt golf, go cart tracks, water theme parks, the Gulfarium, dozens of awesome restaurants, several outlet malls, charter fishing, and miles of white beaches! Family vacation

Great location, an easy beach walk to pier. 10 mins from Destin. Publix within 3 mins. Nice parking lot. 2nd floor balcony for spotting dolphins. Nice pool w/short boardwalk to beach. Not enough pool loungers. 2 Beach chairs/umbrella provided. We took beach chairs to be able to sit in the water. Beds were comfortable. We did a lot of cooking in the kitchen and found most everything we needed. Great nonstick skillet. Provided coffee pot, blender, toaster, crockpot, smaller size bowls for meal preparation, 8x8 & 8x11 glass pan, pie plate. Of course, cups, glasses, plates, silverware and cooking utensils. I would recommend bringing the following: potholders (there were none); sharp knife for cutting veggies, fruit and we were cutting boneless chicken breast; your own hand towels & dishcloths(they provide them, but will charge for any stains left on them. After I cleaned the crockpot they have in the unit before I cooked with it, the dishcloth was stained); your own wash cloths (after walking barefoot on beach, the bottom of my feet were dirty and they provide WHITE bath linens and charge for any stains left on them); soft scrub or Clorox wipes bc the countertop is white and stains easily; a shower mat (I found shower slick). The light over dining table is too dim it needs a brighter bulb. Ceiling fans could use a good cleaning. There were no coffee filters, bring them. The master bath toilet needs to have more water in the bowl for flushing. Yes, book it!!!!

Fort Walton Getaway

This was my first fall trip to the beach and I loved it! Gulf Dunes in FW is so close to everything you need. We drove to Destin most nights for dinner and we were most everywhere in about 15 minutes. Our condo was well-stocked with towels and kitchen appliances/tools we would need to cook there. Most everything seemed clean when we arrived and it was very spacious. We checked all the beds/drawers/chairs for signs of bugs and we didn't find anything. Our last couple days we did see a total of 6-7 bugs that looked like roaches, mostly near the door or balcony. However, on our last day, there were a couple in the kitchen. I called Sunset RR and let them know. They said they would take care of it when we left and would spray. I am hoping this wasn't or won't be a continued issue because we LOVED our location and room. It was so close to the beach and we always were able to get chairs right in front of the condo. I would more than likely stay here again!
