We had a great stay from start to finish! The host was so easy to work with and accommodating. The property was quiet and large enough for our entire party to stay together and in a great location for activities. I would highly recommend and we will for sure stay again in the future!
This is the perfect place for a family getaway! You can do as many activities as you like as they are close by or you can just relax and sit around a fire or under the awesome large pavilion. The hosts were very attentive to all requests!

Thank you so much for your business and we hope you will come bAck anytime!
My family had a wonderful time at the Hemlock Haus! Jennifer and her family were friendly, considerate hosts who went out of their way to ensure we had all of the information and items we needed! It is beautiful there, cozy, and they even had a trampoline and swing for the kids which was SO much fun for them! We'll definitely come back to Cook Forest again.
Property was beautiful !!!Very well maintained and backyard was great for all of us to play and enjoy! The picnic shelter was definitely where we spent our time while on property Our hosts Jen and her daughters were amazing hostsAnd provided help anytime we reached outGreat access to hiking trails and the clarion river Already booked for next year and staying longer
Perfect little gem on private land surrounded by Cook Forest. Kayak and inner tube trips just minutes away. Grandkids loved the trampoline and saucer swing. The littlest one made sure he got up to say good morning to the chickens every morning. Rented both upper and lower cabins which is surely the way to go. Our stay was excellent and I would highly recommend.

Thank you and we would love to host you again anytime!!
We had a great time at the Hemlock Haus! We rented both cabins - and our college age kids stayed in one cabin and the older adults stayed in the other. Jen reached out several times to ask if we needed anything and to make sure everything was ok. The cabins were secluded but yet close to two kayaking/tubing locations and a few hiking trails. It’s exactly the trip that we needed to the mountains!
Loved how private the area was but yet so close to all the activities we wanted to enjoy. Owners were very attentive to our needs. Would highly recommend.
Perfect Cooks Forest location near trails and the river. Very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the multiple areas to dine and gather. Hosts are welcoming and eager to ensure a pleasant stay. Definitely recommend!! My 80 year old parents found it most pleasant!

Thank you, we hope you will consider staying with us again.
Hosts were amazing; always available and helpful. My low oil light came on on the drive up and they provided me with oil! Convenient location and the property is well maintained. So glad linens and kitchen necessities provided. Great time!
We had a WONDERFUL stay! Eveything was close by, the beautiful property, the multiple fire pits, air conditioning, cookware, stocked cabins, covered patio, etc. We look forward to coming back next year! You go above and beyond for your guests and it shows. Thank you for guiding us with activites around town, answering texts quickly, and being a friend.

We love to hear our guests had a lovely stay and we hope you will come back soon!
Hemlock Haus was a perfect spot for our family. The "old" ones stayed on the bottom unit and the "youngsters" stayed in the top unit. Our ages went from 90 to 28. The place was great and the hosts were wonderful. Anything we needed was taken care of quickly. Conveniently located near everything in the Forest.

You were great guests! Love to see families that travel together, please come again!
We stayed here with family and rented both units; it was perfect! The place was super clean and had AMAZING outdoor space. Jen was a superb host. She had great recommendations on things to do, restaurants, hikes, etc. And she was always checking in to make sure that we had everything. (We needed extra blankets and had them in minutes.) The location was great too.
I cannot recommend this place highly enough!
Very nice cabin right on the edge of Cooks Forest! The host lives next door which is convenient if there are any questions or issues. Note it is not two separate cabins, it is an up and down. The step into the cabin may be difficult to negotiate for elderly or those with poor mobility. Overall we loved the cabin and location… we plan to stay again!
