Love to hike, kayak or just relax? Bring your friends, family, and dogs!

Need a getaway? Family - friends - hiking - hunting, or maybe just you and the dog! This cabin offers three furnished bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with cook and serve ware, along with plenty of seasonings and condiments, too! The living room furniture all reclines, and the sofa has a pull down 'table' in the middle. We also provide accommodations for your dogs, including bowls & bags! We have satellite internet and a separate desk area so you can work if necessary. All 3 TV's include streaming ability. The cabin sits on a full acre, so you can take a stroll around the property without interfering with neighbors. To enjoy the firepit, there is plenty of seating - including a picnic table. If it's an indoor night, the gas log fireplace needs no work to create ambiance.

We had a wonderful time at Fern Valley Cabin. The location was peaceful and quiet, perfect for a winter getaway. The cabin was immaculate and was decorated beautifully for the winter holidays. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for evening meals. They even had a raised bed and supplies for our dog, who loved the experience. Kris was very friendly and responsive----the perfect host! We will definitely return!

Our stay was wonderful. The hosts really thought of the guests even providing hygiene/ feminine products in case forgotten. Each room was provided with a basket of towels extra blankets. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that you could think of and the cabin was decorated beautifully. I could write so much more it really was a great stay!

Comfort away from home!

The property was beautiful. The check in process was super easy and straight forward! The host was very understanding and accomodating with our need for a late check in! This cabin was so comfortable and perfect for our family! It included everything that we needed for our stay! The cabin was well appointed with all the basics stocked up. It was very clean and the location was super close to cool forest. At night it was very quiet which was nice. We would definitely stay there again!

A Perfect Stay: Comfort, Convenience, and a Wonderful Host!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at this property! From the moment we booked, the host was incredibly responsive and helpful, making us feel welcome and at ease. The location couldn’t have been better—close to everything we wanted to see and do, yet peaceful and relaxing. Our family has spent our past several vacations touring our country's magnificent National and State Parks, and always stay in a short term rental.
From our experiences as guests, we strive to provide you all the necessities for a relaxing stay. From the basics of linens and soap, to flavored coffee creamers and a tie-out for your dog! You will find area information in our Guest Binder, along with a booklet you can take as a reference.

Why they chose this property

This location offers both privacy and convenience.
It is very easy to get to, and sits on an acre of ferns and pines. The surrounding homes are a mix of well-maintained seasonal and full-time homes.
If you are visiting Cook Forest, the fun park is a mere 2 minutes away, and the Visitor Center is just a 5 minute drive. If you spend the day hiking, kayaking, or go-karting, you can relax when you return to the cabin!
The property is peaceful, and you can enjoy some s'mores around the bonfire without interfering with neighbors.
