Being a host is where I get to share our beautiful camp with people just like me. I'm a Fire Fighter and a father of two little ones who cant wait to pull into camp. Being a first responder and being able to detach from the job for just a little bit is all the difference. I appreciate the time with my kids and the memories we make each trip together. Now hosting two Air-bnbs in Cooks forest I get to explore more of the place I call paradise!
Why they chose this property
My favorite place to be on this planet is Cook's Forest. I've grown up fishing the Clarion River for small mouth bass. Hunting the Allegheny National Forest with my Pap for whitetail deer was always my favorite time of the year. The sounds in the woods and the abundant wildlife is where I love to be. Theres so much to do back at camp after a long day of hiking the tobacco trail through Clear Creek State Park. The flat yard makes in nice for corn hole games, or letting you little ones ride their power wheels all around the yard. I can only draw a picture but the experience, kicking your feet back and feeling right at home.

What makes our property unique is the location! Minutes to Cousin Basils restaurant and their wonderful staff. The Clarion River Canoe launch also minutes away bring your tubes and kayaks. The Fire Tower in Cook Forest is about 10 minutes away with an unbeatable view. Allegheny National Forest , Clear Creek State Park, Cook Forest State Park with activities for the whole family.
