This private 3 bedroom, 1 bath property is nestled in a quiet neighborhood alongside Hartshorne Woods Park, comprised of over 700+ protected acres with 16 miles of hiking and biking trails; entrance is walking distance from our front door.

Welcome the day sipping your coffee, watching deer, squirrels and birds in the back yard. Enjoy the natural light and park view from the family-room's floor-to-ceiling windows or the fresh air on the outdoor patio with seating and dining table.

Less than 2 miles from Gateway National Recreation Area (Sandy Hook), spend your day sunbathing at the beach/bay, fishing, biking, windsurfing or birdwatching. Your reservation includes a complimentary beach parking pass to Sandy Hook ($100 value).

Or enjoy the Henry Hudson Trail less than 1 mile away which runs from Sandy Hook to Keyport with miles of biking and hiking along the Sandy Hook Bay.

In the evening, barbeque on the back patio or explore the active Jersey Shore nightlife, bars/breweries and renowned restaurants in neighboring Atlantic Highlands, Highlands, Sea Bright, Monmouth Beach and Long Branch.

What a great place to stay with my family and dogs. I felt like I was on a retreat tucked away with a nice fenced in yard. House was awesome and host was in great communication. Everything you need. Perfect.

Peaceful and in close proximity to whatever your heart desires from a beach town

Heather was welcoming, accommodating and efficient. We loved the sunny space filled with fresh cut flowers and a back patio that was better then advertised. Our fur babies loved basking in the sunfilled living room with big bay windows taking in the the sights and sounds of the wildlife. We had everything we needed including beach towels and chairs so packing was light. I would definitely stay again and recommend this stay if ever in Atlantic highlands. Heather, Thanks for having us and our fur family.

Cozy home in a quiet neighborhood

Everything was as advertised! Beautiful house; great location. Sandy Hook beaches just 5min by car; entrance to hiking trails on the same street. The host was very responsive to our questions and needs.

Family Reunion

We had a great first time in New Jersey for a family reunion. Heather's home is really great! Tons of sunlight, very clean and super comfortable. We enjoyed the multiple outside sitting areas and the location was very close to our local family. Heather was really responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We have told our local family that all of their friends who visit should stay at Heather's!! We stay at VRBO properties at least a few times a year and this was one of the best set ups for our family. Fantastic time!!! Thanks, Heather!!!
