Okay for quick weekend
This is not meant to be a negative review but more of an informative one and a recommendation for some improvements. It was very cute and the location was extremely convenient for our move in weekend at Carson Newman. Some things that renters should know and/or need attention:
-Keurig was filthy. Unable to use.
-A/C is controlled in the main hallway of the house which you share with 3 other renters so there’s a fight over the thermostat.
-The unit is small and quaint which we expected but it is literally one tiny room. That wasn’t real clear on the description.
-The shower head aims right at the curtain so water goes out into the floor. Shower is extremely small.
-2 of 3 bulbs in bathroom were out.
-Only 2 bath towels available for all weekend.
-Bathroom door unable to completely close for privacy.
-Bed pillows very flat and need replacing.
Main disappointment was the air. We would adjust to make it comfortable for us and then discover a few hours later, someone had adjusted it much warmer. We had to continually go out to readjust the air to not burn up.
The fact that this is a house that’s been divided into 4 tiny rooms and all have to share a heating and air unit would be helpful to know ahead of time.
If a couple changes were made and you knew these things ahead of the stay, it would be much better and an okay spot for a night or two.
