The Green Elk Retreat Cabin was a luxury compared to staying in a wall tent for 8 days. The host was very welcoming and the accommodations were much more than expected. If you are planning a Unit 22N Elk hunt, look no further than the Green Elk Retreat Cabin for your stay.
Came to Pine for a weekend getaway with my family. We really enjoyed our stay. This is a beautiful, very clean, well kept home. The kitchen had everything we needed. Loved that there was both a drip and single serve coffee maker. We will definitely be back.
This was our 2nd stay. We enjoy it because the house is light, airy and clean with a very nice size kitchen. We also enjoy the fully fenced in yard. The fence is high enough where we don't have to worry about the dog breaking out.The neighborhood is nice and quiet. If I'm being picky, the bed was too soft for my liking. It has a memory foam and you sink into one position. Otherwise, great little house!
We had a great time at Green Elk! The home was clean and had everything we needed. Owner were available for questions. Hiking areas were very close. We will definitely be back again!!!
Our second stay at the Green Elk Retreat and we loved the cabin and property. Cant wait to come back next year! It’s quiet and peaceful. I enjoy seeing the elk all around and they are not fazed by barking dogs! Thank you Lindsay and Lance for a wonderful stay. See you next year.
We did Thanksgiving at the property and it was perfect. Huge kitchen and incredibly provisioned.
Also, we were greeted by 10+ elk when we arrived and they visited throughout our stay—so cool!
Hosts are incredibly responsive!
The cabin was wonderful. Very clean. Had everything we needed. The Elk were such welcome visitors. Sadly, I got ill and we had to leave early. Hoping to return again.
This will not be the last time we stay here…Exactly what it was described as and then some. Highly recommended to anyone who wants a quiet mountain time away.
Great setup to open kitchen and living area for family to relax and enjoy time together. The fence yard is great for our pets and a lot of things to do and areas to hike and take long walks.
This property was a real find. It felt secluded, was perfectly maintained and the amenities were amazing. The family enjoyed their stay and still continue to rave about their experiences. Could not recommend this property enough.
Checking in was flawless. Everything we expected was there and the place was exactly as described. No issues, no questions, no problems. Perfect. Would recommend.
We wanted to getaway for the weekend to a cool place in the woods. This place was perfect! It was fully stocked with multiple coffee makers! The furniture decorations were very cute. The layout was great, it has 3 bedrooms, the master has its own bathroom.
The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. A hiking path entrance was just a few blocks away. We are coming back in two months with family!!
My husband and I enjoyed the long weekend here with our three young kids, my parents, and our dog. We love the neighborhood (we’ve stayed in the area before), and this has been our best VRBO yet. Everything was clean, the kitchen is spacious and very well equipped, including stuff for the kids! The kids also loved playing on the swing set in the backyard. 10/10 We hope to come back again.
Walked into a spotless home - blue skies, green pines,
elk in the backyard - perfect! We couldn't connect to the net - called the owner and had the password verified and were up and running in a minute - it's a great neighborhood.
The place is great. Great space with all the amenities. Modern kitchen, large master bed and bath. Great fenced backyard for the dog. Can access the trail 100m up. I worked remotely and the internet service was adequate for what I needed. Highly recommend and would book again.

Why they chose this property
We love being able to drive 90 minutes from Phx and escape the heat. The elk that can typically be found relaxing along the back fence line sealed the deal. Our kids love the backyard because of all the activities.
