My family had a nice weekend away for Father's Day. The views were beautiful and the peace and quiet was amazing. The home was clean, the beds were comfortable and the decorating was cute. It was only a 4 minute drive to the Pine trailhead for many different types of hikes. We enjoyed every moment!

Fantastic place. It’s snowed unexpectedly and the host had a snow shovel ready. The road up to the place was not plowed. Luckily, my car was able to make it up hill. Great place and will be back again!

We enjoyed our stay very much at this property. The wrap around deck is wonderful to enjoy the view. We saw many elk, javelina, ravens, blue jays, vultures, and humming birds. We saw all of this on property. The smell of pine filled the air as we enjoyed our time outdoors. We also took a wonderful hike to an amazing cave where we saw deer. The interior of the home was cozy, beds comfortable. We did use the bedroom fan which hit the string on every revolution so we simply turned the ac a little lower. There were a few things that needed attention but overall very nice and good property to enjoy a stay in such a quaint town. We loved the antique shops and the local breweries and the Pie Bar in Strawberry. Yum! You won’t regret staying here. The host was very accommodating and friendly when we had questions.

Great views and great privacy

My wife and I booked this cabin for a romantic Valentine’s Day weekend. It was perfect for that. The view from the deck has to be one of the best around the deck is very large and you can leave the windows open in the cabin to enjoy the view. Just me I’m not a fan of cabins that are on top of each other. The cabinet is very modern and nicely decorated. We walked into Pine. It was a It was an easy 20 minute walk and very enjoyable. An easy 20 minute walk and very enjoyable There was some fun little antique shopping for the wife. There’s a tavern that had great burgers and a breakfast place. We hit was fantastic too.

Great getaway

Coming from Buckeye AZ, we liked the cooler temp's and water. The deck was just as good in person as in the photo. Very tastefully decorated and comfortable beds. The coffee table was absolutely gorgeous. Custom made from a beautiful log. I had trouble getting in as I tried using an old code device. Call to the owner and I was corrected. He was very cordial and helpful. After 1,000s of miles traveling in the mountains, we saw our first elk, actually several of them. Yea!

Any excuse to be in the great outdoors!! Exploring the Rim and surrounding area is one of my favorite things to do-it is never ending and stunningly beautiful.

Why they chose this property

The property design of this home ranging from the custom sprawling deck, to the outdoor firepit and BBQ area, were designed with the guest in mind to maximize the full outdoor experience all times of the year. The BBQ is covered, and features a custom built in high bench and table that can be enjoyed in all four seasons, even in rain and snow!

While the home itself is tastefully decorated, complete with all of the modern creature comforts, our crowning jewel is the massive deck! It features a shaded pergola for morning coffee, evening dinner or a simple glass of wine.

We love our home and hope you do too!!
