Relax in style with Mountain living at its best! Open concept with lots of natural light through-out this gorgeous home. Rustic knotty pine walls, post & beam construction, massive rock fireplace accent the spacious great room. Upgraded kitchen with open-faced cabinets, pot rack, island work center. 2 bedrooms on main level, 1 with an ensuite bath. Owner's retreat is the loft with sitting area, desk/workspace, & beautiful bath complimented by clawfoot tub, dual vanities, shower & slate floor. Inviting covered outdoor living space with another wood burning fireplace, propane firepit, dining & sitting areas. Private relaxing in deck hot tub with views of the backyard. Front deck wraps fully around to rear deck that captures awesome mountain views & sunsets. 2-car garage with custom doors, terraced & landscaped fenced backyard. The garage is set up with a Pool Table, Ping Pong Table and Foosball table to provide hours of entertainment along with Horse Shoes and Tetherball in the backyard. We recently installed an EV Charger (Juicebox 32) which available to those that are in need. There is a professionally monitored security system in place and cab be used during your stay. In addition to smart locks and thermostats, there are 5 Outdoor security cameras (including a doorbell camera) protecting the property and 1 camera in the garage. For your privacy, there are NO cameras inside the cabin and there are NO views of the hot tub area. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns regarding our security system and cameras. The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds, gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
If needed, please clean up after your pet—this includes any accidents in the home or waste in the yard or on the deck. For your convenience, a pooper scooper is hanging on the back deck.
Please keep the hot tub water level even with the bottom of the LED lights (no more than 1–2" above or below). Incorrect levels can damage the spa & equipment, and guests may be held responsible.
If you used the BBQ grill, please give it a quick clean. If any of the propane tanks are empty, just let us know so we can get them refilled.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Travelers must load and run dishwasher, clean out ashes from both fireplaces (no hot coals left), Clean BBQ if used. Pick up Pet Waste clean up messes

Friends Weekend Trip

Dancing Bear Great Time

Just the two of us stayed for two nights and really enjoyed ourselves. The place was fantastic, super clean, very spacious and very, very comfortable. Would stay there again for certain.

Celebrate a 60th Birthday

Great Family getaway spot

This cabin is the perfect getaway spot to spend time with friends or family. The owners are attentive and the cabin includes everything you need. The outdoor dining and living area is fantastic. The interior of the cabin is rustic and charming.

Dancing bear lodge weekend

Over all an amazing experience. From check in to check out it was perfect. The house was so cozy and welcoming it felt like home. Hard to leave it. All the little personal touches were on point. Great hosts . We will definitely recommend and it’s easily one of our favorite locations. We are definitely coming back soon.

Great cabin getaway

Wonderful vacation. Elk came right up to the cabin steps. Hot tub was phenomenal! Lots of space to relax with family. Owners checked in periodically to make we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Great stay!

Absolutely the most well appointed, maintained property we have enjoyed through VRBO. Lovely outdoor areas. Only recommendation would be replacement for the Beautyrest mattress downstairs.

Amazing pet-friendly cabin

We had a wonderful stay here. This cabin had absolutely everything we were looking for…we never even left the cabin during our stay. We loved the fenced-in outside space for our dogs to explore. We also loved the TV outside. Amazing place! We hope to come back soon!

Another Amazing Stay at Dancing Bear

This was our second stay at Dancing Bear Lodge and it was just as great as the first time. The home is immaculate and is well appointed, the owners have thought of everything you might need. We love every aspect of this home, particularly the deck, outdoor living space, and hot tub. The moment we step on the property all of our stress just washes away. The owners are extremely responsive and helpful. Dancing Bear Lodge is a magical place for us and we plan to return many times in the future.

Fall Break Getaway

The cabin was perfect and exactly what we expected. There was plenty of space for our family and fur baby to hang out. The outdoor space was cozy and we enjoyed s’mores and a movie. We had everything we needed. If we stay in Pine again, the Dancing Bear Lodge will be at the top of our list of places to stay.

Wonderful!

We had an amazing time and absolutely loved the outdoor areas in this house. We only went inside for the absolute necessary things like sleep and bathroom..ha! You really feel secluded in the yard, and we even got to see an Elk up close. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back!

Family get away

The cabin exceeded our expectations! The outdoor patio area was a fantastic place to enjoy meals, sports games on the large TV, and enjoy the fireplace. The cabin had everything you could need including a great selection of games and books. The cabin is very pet friendly with a fenced in back yard and gated deck areas. The cabin is located close to area attractions and far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet.

Perfect Lodge

Dancing Bear Lodge was a highlight of our trip to Arizona. The hosts created a perfect retreat that is well appointed. The hot tub is amazing (clean and new) and we were fortunate to watch an elk roam nearby while relaxing in the hot tub. The place has a large variety of games, a kitchen with everything we needed, and overall thoughtful touches most everywhere. We enjoyed nearby hikes but also just staying at the lodge and relaxing. The beds were very comfortable. Our whole family highly recommends Dancing Bear Lodge.

Absolute Delight!

We have stayed in many VRBO's in the US as well as internationally and this was one of the best. It's a beautiful property that sits on a private wooded lot that's fully fenced in. We enjoyed most of our time outside on the lovely covered 2nd living/dining patio. The home has been updated and the decor is nicely appointed with a 'cabin' charm. The owners checked in with us frequently to be sure everything was ok and were very responsive to any of our inquiries. We walked our pup daily and she was mesmerized by all the elk and deer. We'll definitely be back!

Stay here, you won't regret it!

I have to say, we love Pine and usually visit a few times a year. We had a long standing fave until the owner sold 2 years ago. We've struggled finding a place we loved, until now. Check-in was a breeze. We were blown away at how large the home was in person. Main living area was spacious with plenty of comfortable seating options. Definitely nap worthy. The decor is exactly what you'd expect in a cabin. So many cool things. We noticed new things every day. Downstairs rooms are nicely furnished, comfy beds, large closets w/ shelving. Master suite is awesome, too. The kitchen was a dream. If you need it, its there. All utensil options, sharp knives, small appliances, cutting boards, beverage pitcher. It has a built in ice maker & purified water option on the sink. Everywhere we looked, there were games/ activities. They have a full game cabinet, bookshelf, and other random games all over the place. The outdoor space is special. Deck wraps around most of the house, furniture on all sides. The outdoor living area was comfy and fun to hang out in. Game room was popular w/ our boys as was the outdoor tv. Loved the hot tub. Right behind the house are tetherball and horseshoes. We wish we had time to enjoy it all but plan to stay again. Hosts were available & responded quickly to a question we had about a local spot we had heard about. We didn't need them outside of that, as their printed communications were thorough. Neighborhood is quiet. You won't regret it, book your stay!

We strive to have it feel as warm and friendly as possible. We personally stay at many other vacation rentals and think we know what it will take to make you feel at home and comfortable during your stay. Check out our Reviews.... We live in East Valley, town of Gold Canyon and are less than 2 hours away or faster via text, if needed.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this Beam and Post construction and stone fireplace. The outdoor living area is unmatched. Pine is a fabulous artsy location with a small town feel. Elk and deer will casually stroll down the streets looking for something to eat or a place to bed down.

What makes this property unique

Only a few blocks to the Tonto National Forest. Spectacular views from the front, back and side yards. Easy access and conveniently close to town while still be far enough away for privacy and serenity.
