About this property

NEW! Buffalo Dreams Cabin at Dakota Dream B&B

Located on 10 pine studded acres with rock outcroppings just minutes from downtown Custer, South Dakota. (Less than 1 mile if you like to hike!)

Our "Buffalo Bunkhouse" Cabin is a cozy open floor plan of approximately 240 square feet that can sleep a family of 2 adults and 2 children with a traditional queen bed and an available air bed.

(Note there is an additional fee of $10 per night for each ADULT guest over the included 2 guests. Please include number of ADULT guests when booking)

The cabin features a small bathroom with a stand up shower a compact kitchen equipped with a one burner stove, sink, and mini fridge.

Breakfast is not included with the Buffalo Bunkhouse rental. Our B&B rooms in the main lodge that do include breakfast are the Black Hills Room at Dakota Dream, the Bears Den at Dakota Dream, and the Lodge Suite at Dakota Dream B&B

Stay cool inside with a window air conditioning unit.

Outside feature a 4 foot porch. There is a grill and picnic table where in the evening you can enjoy watching the deer or bring the yard games and soccer ball we have plenty of room.

Private parking for your convenience. Indoor motorcycle parking by arrangement.

The cabin was clean, well equipped and very welcoming. The property is well maintained and offers a great variety of things including and outdoor kitchen. The property manager was very friendly and answered all communications promptly. We would definitely stay there again.

Tucked away just south of Custer this cabin is both close enough to everything where it is an easy drive but also just far enough out its like you're on your own. Just great overall, make sure if you stay ask if Madeline is selling her donuts.

Great Place to Stay!

We were very happy with our stay in the Buffalo Bunk House. It is so quiet and away from the crowds. Yet it is close to all the activities in Custer and the Black Hills. Short getaway

This cabin was just perfect for my time spent in the Hills. It was clean and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The hostess and her daughter were wonderful! I highly recommend this quiet, out of the way cabin, for some quiet, and a place to soak up the atmosphere of the beautiful hills. It is just outside of Custer, but away from all the hub bub of the "tourists". Outstanding place to stay.

Hi! I'm Mackenzie Wright, the new owner of Dakota Dream! My infant daughter, Madeline, and I are looking forward to having you stay with us.

I was raised in Portland, Oregon around rodeos with a love of horses, hunting and nature. While attending the Devil's Lake Law Enforcement Academy, I experienced and came to love the landscape of the Dakotas. My time in law enforcement was very rewarding, and I've maintained my certification as a North Dakota peace officer and work with my K-9 Able.

I enjoy interaction with people of all ages and I frequently use my K-9 Able to educate children and teens about the dangers of drugs.
