We had a great stay at this cabin in the mountains of North Georgia! Even though our trip was short, the whole family loved it. The property was beautiful, peaceful, and secluded, making it the perfect place to get away and relax. The river access was a huge bonus, especially for fishing! We also had excellent communication with the host, which made everything easy and stress-free. We only wish we could have stayed longer! We’ll definitely be looking at coming back for an extended stay next time.

Great house! Conveniently located for Apple orchards and going into downtown Ellijay. Two master bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms which is great! Easy to find with gps! Community is quiet. On the River. Must note a lot of steps and a little bit of sloped grassy area to manage to get to the river and back to the house but we (73 and 76 year old) kept up with the kids and grandkids.

This property was great for our family getaway. Host was very accommodating and quick to respond to messages. The view from the porch was beautiful but the hill is very steep and lots of steps uphill. Definitely not ideal property for elderly or those not in great shape. The house was clean and comfy and the hot tub was so nice.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The outdoor surroundings were so peaceful, tranquil & relaxing. The cabin was clean & spacious as well as conveniently located to everything. We enjoyed chilling in the hot tub, playing Pool /Ping-Pong, sitting by the river & watching the deer graze. Plus, the host was great to communicate with me whenever I had questions.

Wonderful stay! The home was comfortable and spacious for our family, with a great separate area where our teens could hang out. The location was convenient to local attractions, and the wildlife around the property made it even more special. The host was fantastic and always responded quickly when we reached out. Highly recommend.

The cabin was so beautiful! From the time we arrived until the time we left there were deer walking through the property it was so neat to just sit back on the porch and watch. The location was perfect and easy to get to and from everything. Definitely recommend Dahlonega Downtown, Elijah Downtown, Amicola Falls, Cohutta Overlook and Reece’s cider to name a few. We will definitely be back! The McRorie’s

Family fun

Cabin was great. Owner was very responsive and helpful. The river by the cabin was a little murky for my taste but the owner gave me some tips of other areas to go in and was spot on! had a great time.

Incredible! Highly recommend!

I can’t say enough good things about our stay. The cabin was clean, spacious, and perfect for our group of 7 (with room for more if needed!) check in was seamless, the property was beautiful. Being secluded with river access but only 10 minutes away from downtown Ellijay, the location was incredible. Would definitely stay here again, what a perfect place for our long weekend!

Great space for group getaway

The house and view are STUNNING. We had a small team/work retreat and the space was perfect- room for folks to spread out or come together. We’ve already recommended it to several other friends and colleagues.

Nice for a quick getaway

We enjoyed the hot tub, games in the game room, and access to the river(even though it was not the right season). This would be an amazing spot to kayak or float down to and take out since it is located just below Blackberry Falls.

Fabulous property

The property is beautiful and has so many amenities! We came up for a long weekend for my husband’s birthday with both of our grown kids, their spouses and our 2 month old grandson. I was so excited to find a cabin with 3 king size beds, one for each couple! We will definitely be back!!

Beautiful cabin

We loved our stay! Beautiful cabin!Everyone enjoyed the game room.. steps leading from cabin to water were somewhat steep, we all managed fine, but would be difficult for elderly. Also, we would have enjoyed getting in the water, but too much of an embankment. Loved seeing all the deer & their fawns!!

The property is in a good location close to Ellijay. It was nice that each level had its own thermostat and bathroom. The kitchen had everything that you would need. Wonderful view of the river. The home does need a good deep cleaning. There was dust piled up on the basement steps in the corners that had been there for a while, spiders in the basement bathroom along with dead bugs. The outside deck needs to be pressure washed and the chains/railing down the steps to the river need to be tightened for safety. The area close to the river around the firepit needs to be kept up better/mowed/weed eat.

Thank you for the kind words about the location, river view, and layout, we're glad those stood out. I apologize for the cleanliness issue in the basement. I've addressed this directly with our cleaning team. Regarding the deck, our riverfront location means heavy pollen accumulation is a fact of life in the warmer months, something we do our best to stay on top of between stays. We always encourage guests to reach out to us during their stay if anything isn't right, we're very responsive and would have had someone out the same day. It's always easier for us to make things right in the moment than to hear about them after checkout. We hope you had a good vacation in Ellijay and consider coming back.

Lovely home near Ellijay

We attended a wedding in Ellijay and this home was perfect for our family. The home had 4 bedrooms and a sleeper sofa. The bedroom on the bottom floor was perfect for my son and daughter-in-law because they have an infant. They were able to put him down for naps there away from all of the distractions. The river was lovely and there are lots of deer and other wildlife. We also enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor fireplace. Would love to stay here again.

Family Thanksgiving Getaway!!

Our family went and each of us had our own privacy if needed. The grand children had so much fun in the hot tub while we sat by the fireplace close by. I would highly recommend this place. Matter of fact, that is what my family said too. We saw deer every morning and late afternoon and hearing the water flow from the stream was relaxing. Super nice Thanksgiving time.
