The place is clean, comfortable, and convenient to the strip district. The host is quick on returning answers to any questions that I had. I would have given it 5 stars but the traffic noise did not make for good sleeping. Lots of traffic noise all night long. In addition, there was a bus stop out front and people at the bus stop were very loud. I would bring earplugs or noice cancelling head phones.
We had a great stay - it was a beautiful place and convenient location. It could get somewhat noisy, but we did not have any trouble sleeping through the night. Would stay again for another Pittsburgh trip!
Great location for ease of access to greater Pgh area. Mattress was surprisingly comfortable & appreciated. Shower head was a dream! Unit could be improved with reliable WiFi to ensure TV doesn’t lose connectivity every 15-20 min. Reinforce window panes for noise control from outside. Overall, could use a deep cleaning as there are cobwebs & built up residue in areas. Small touches to improve like newer, more comfy furniture, towels, cleaner shower curtain, bath mat in tub to prevent slipping, more kitchen supplies (baking pan, ziplock bags, foil, etc).
The property gorgeous and well appointed. The main issue for not getting 5 stars is the door entry system was not functional upon arrival. The host did fix, but I found frustrating. It is definitely an urban space with a bus stop in front and a busy street. Id stay again if in town.
Great little place for my husband and I to stay during our quick trip. Comfy Murphy bed, nice rain shower with good water pressure. Although we only got takeout, full kitchen available with everything you would need. Would stay again!
We had a great stay for a couples weekend getaway in the city. The place was very clean and looked just like the pictures. The check in and check out process were very easy and the host was very responsive. We will stay again if we ever need a place to stay in the city.
Spacious, clean, bright & airy oversized studio, with a giant soaking tub that was the main draw for me. Off-street parking, good communication with owners, centrally located. Can't ask for more than that!
Great location, parking was perfect in the lot right next to the unit. Only complaint was the electronic door lock was a little tricky to operate at times. I would suggest an internal lock, such as a chain or extra deadbolt, just for more security. Overall, we had a great stay and my husband can’t stop raving about the shower head. We would stay here again!
Super cute, clean. Parking was easy & off street. Only downside was the entrance opens out to a (fairly busy) street; not the worst - but something to be mindful of if you have a small child or a dog who likes to run out of the door. Overall, I would stay here again!
As noted, this property is in an urban location at the intersection of a major road and bridge. My son lives in the city, so I knew this going in, and the location is between him and his friends who live nearby, so it was perfect for me. I absolutely loved that our dogs could stay because it was also their chance to visit him. The property was private, open and as shown in pictures. Parking was just a few feet away. When you are in the apartment, you feel like you are at home. There is outside noise, but it's not terribly distracting unless you are distracted by urban settings. I will 100% rent this property again. Great location...especially for me. Loved the layout and floorplan! Property was clean, well maintained, and as advertised. I loved the parking and pet friendly policies. Pluses:LocationParking. Right next to the unit!Pet Friendly. Loved having my dogs with me!Decor. Modern, clean, and spacious!Size. Open floorplan. Great layout!Kitchen. Good set up. Needs a few things, but great overall!Bathroom. Loved it!Minuses: Kitchen stuff. Minor things, but I cook when I'm in town and told the owner. Noise. As noted in other reviews. I sleep hard, so not an issue for me, but at times it sounded like windows were open because it was so loud, and they weren't. Not a good place for light sleepers. If I were the owner, I'd invest in better windows!Starter stuff: Could use some starter items like laundry pods and dryer sheets, etc.
The murphy bed is so comfortable and this little space has a huge feel! The high ceilings, and the adorable furnishings make it all feel like home. Adam is easy to work with and very receptive to questions. Can't wait to return.
Great spot to hit all the key areas of Pittsburgh! The neighborhood may seem rougher but it’s really not - and so close to the best parts of the Strip District! Such a cute apartment and super helpful/kind owners :) We had a blast!!!
We loved our stay! Great location - walkable to Lawrenceville and the Strip District. The apartment was stocked with everything we needed and very spacious. Check-in was a breeze and our host was very responsive. I did find the neighborhood to be extremely noisy at night (between very loud car and truck traffic and pedestrians passing by in the early hours of the morning), but other than that, everything was perfect.
Nice place. Plenty of room. Nicely outfitted. Bed was comfortable. Had everything I needed. The intersection where the place is can be a bit noisy with traffic throughout the night. Not a surprise. It’s city living. Adjusted after an evening. Nice option for the price in this area.
The location of this place was great. Right between Lawrenceville and the Strip District. You are able to walk to everything you need. The place was clean and cute and perfect for what we needed. Mornings are a bit bright and loud as there are lots of windows and it is on the corner of the 31st street bridge so traffic was a bit noisy in the mornings. Great stay and we would stay again.
The location of this property is wonderful with off street parking and over an adorable boutique. We have stayed in plenty of other properties over the years and this place had been done extremely well. Most air b and b type places have shoddy workmanship and strange quirks but not this one. Would highly recommend!!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay even with the quirkiness. Entry door could be frustrating and the kitchen is lacking in equipment.. The studio is very comfortable, love the layout and the rainfall shower is amazing. So if you are looking for a place close to Pitt and want a cool place to stay I suggest this little place.
Absolutely everything was wonderful, the space, comfy bed, great location, big bathroom, and equipped kitchen BUT I would suggest replacing the window next to the bed with a quality window with layered glass to reduce greatly the amount of noise from the street since the space is on a corner of a busy area. Fix the window and this would be a go to VRBO every time we’re in Pittsburgh!
Communication was responsive as we were prepared by the owner before we ever arrived. Location worked for our needs and parking was the extra bonus. Not sure when but we will definitely come back!
The host was responsive and the place was clean. The only thing I would warn people about is the noise level. I feel like other reviews down played it a bit. It is very loud and we ended up leaving early after the first night due to not being able to sleep. It is located right off a main road so cars and trucks go up and down the street and bridge all night long. All other aspects of the check in process and communication was seamless and easy.
