We thoroughly enjoyed the property and its close proximity to all of the things we wanted to do. Howard was very responsive to all of the questions we had in advance of our travels.
The condo was clean and well appointed a very short drive to restaurants and shopping, groceries just down the street and less than 15 minutes from the airport. We were very comfortable.
Nice big apartment with a great location made our stay most enjoyable. Close to cafes and restaurants and plenty of parking. Even the weather was perfect! Recommended.
Not sure why anyone would stay in a hotel when this property is right down town, within walking distance to trails, restaurants and shopping. We also walk down to the river to watch people fishing for salmon. the beds are comfy and the washer/dryer a lifesaver. Highly recommend.
We loved our accommodations. The condo was clean, had everything we needed, and close to everything. We enjoyed walking the costal trail every day along the water. We were able to walk to stores and restaurants. Our host was lovely. I highly recommend this condo. I will be letting friends and family know about this place if they are traveling to Anchorage.
We had a wonderful experience! Location was ideal. The decor was appealing, and the beds were very comfortable. Restaurants and bakeries within a short walk of the unit, and the waterfront. Highly recommend staying here, we plan to return on our next Alaska visit!
We enjoyed our stay at this condo. The host was great at communicating, it was comfortably furnished, and everything was just as described. Loved the location as we were able to walk to many shops and restaurants. Having stayed at many other places through Vrbo and other sites that have had a long lists of rules and cleaning procedures, this host was exceptionally reasonable.
Downtown apartment, conveniently located. Apartment was clean and appropriately furnished with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. It is a older building, but updated nicely.
Only negative was apartment was fairly warm, and no air conditioning. I never thought the while in Anchorage I would need air conditioning. But, it was not to the point of being too uncomfortable.
Check in and access to the apartment was good.
I would recommend this location for people looking to stay downtown.
Very nice apartment that has a fully equipped kitchen! Parking was easy. My biggest complaints were the WIFI speed was weak—not enough to watch Netflix and there’s not a water view like I expected.

Alaska vacation
Soiled towels in washer, no privacy curtains on sliding glass doors, used food in cabinets, no furniture available on balcony, BR door had no closer, screen missing in BR, broken towel rack, Bathroom fan not working, door lock into apartment was not working properly. No drawer handles in one bathroom, electrical cord connected to an extension cord for lamp was a trip hazard.
Three days in apartment before pre cruise excursions
We arrived 3 days early before our pre cruise excursions in Denali National Park, so that we could enjoy Anchorage. Snow City Cafe was fabulous for breakfast and great coffee and we thoroughly enjoyed Ginger restaurant. The apartment was very clean and located downtown which allowed us to walk almost everywhere. The People Mover bus system was fabulous and very inexpensive. Overall a great start to our pre cruise tours and cruise from Seward to Vancouver at the beginning of June.
Everything worked out great. The property is on the edge of the small city of Anchorage Alaska. We were able to walk to restaurants, gift shops, visitor center and the trolley tour. If you like to walk, run or bike there is a 12 mile path along the water just behind the condo. We used this beautiful condo as our home base for day trips. Just outside of the downtown is a large grocery store and all the big box stores.
Howard was a great host. The home is such a great value in a city that can get pricey to stay in when competing with all the one nigh cruisers! We had my 5 year old son and my 76 year old dad and this place was great. Centrally located to downtown Anchorage and easily walkable to tons of restaurants and shops. We had Walmart deliver some breakfast items and the kitchen set up was perfect. Keurig and small 5 cup coffee maker available as well as everything else you need like toaster, clothes detergent (so nice), fans for each rooms since no AC-you don’t need it with that fans and nice cold evenings. On-site parking was easy for the day that we had a rental car. Easy check in and check out. Will 100% stay here again on the next trip!
Not a negative for us but for anyone with mobility needs it is an older building and it is hard to avoid stairs to get to the elevator (6 steps I think). Just in case stairs are a can’t do at all.
This apartment is in a great downtown location! The first day we had a rental car, but then after we turned it in, we were able to walk to all the restaurants and souvenir shops we needed, but we did Uber to and from the train station just because we were tired. Very responsive host. We are from Texas and did not realize that residences in Anchorage do not have air conditioning. It was in the 70s when we stayed here in July, and I could only find one small fan in the apartment. I texted the host late at night when we returned from sightseeing, and he not only responded within minutes but the very next day he had two large fans delivered which cooled the space nicely. The beds were comfortable, and the décor was very nice. The best souvenir shop is Trapper Jack’s and I loved getting ice cream at Wild Scoops. I liked the security of the place, as there is a code to get into the artic entry and then another code to get into the building, and then a code to get into the apartment. Very responsive and considerate host and very nice place to stay!

Great location and very responsive property manager
The location is great and loved that it had a passcode protected entry. Awesome location right off the trail.
The apartment number wasn’t listed in the check-in instructions so that made it difficult to find where to go. After entering someone else’s apartment by accident, we got a message back from the property manager with the actual apartment number. Not all apartments were marked with numbers.
The apartment was cozy with a HUGE tv and very nice appliances. The beds were comfortable too! The thermostat unfortunately was broken so we had to trip the breaker to turn it off/on during our stay, but the manager said they were fixing that after we checked out.
WiFi SSID and password provided in the listing and check-in instructions had typos and therefore didn’t work. It took a lot of trial and error to figure out how to get onto WiFi. Sent the manager a note, so hopefully he fixed it in the listing for the next people who check in.
speed was on/off and was difficult for any video conferencing while we were there for work. The last two days they updated the WiFi to a separate network. We went through the same difficulty with typos and poor instructions to log back in to the new network, but eventually got on.
They also provided detergent and pots and pans to use which was convenient too!
Overall a great experience and nice place. Maybe just not great with technology.
There was everything you needed to make you feel at home. Beautiful furniture and the kitchen had what you needed to make meals.
The tenants living in the building were very nice.
The property is close to downtown and some good restaurants and breweries. Easy to walk most places (but not close to a grocery store since you're downtown). There was some street noise, but nothing that disturbed our sleep. Bed was comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and included some amenities (shampoo, body wash, hand lotion). K-cups for coffee and some little creamers left in the fridge. Nice washer and dryer. We would definitely stay here again should our travels bring us back to Anchorage.
This little apartment was perfect for our Anchorage visit very centrally located. Walking distance to restaurant s shopping and entertainment. Would recommend to anyone.
