Gorgeous ocean views from almost every window and peaceful privacy at this delightful house about a mile from the center of a charming and historic fishing village about an hour north of Boston. Enjoy your morning coffee from a deck with direct views of the sea and famous Thacher Island with its twin lighthouses. We don't allow pets, parties or children under six. Other than that, you'll have the whole house to yourselves and free parking. No direct access to the rocky shoreline.

Wonderful Stay in Rockport

This is our 2nd summer staying at this lovely home in Rockport. This year we enjoyed walks to the downtown area, sea glass collecting at the beach at low tide, a trip to Castle Hill and Hammond Castle, lunches in Gloucester, and a fantastic anniversary dinner at Feather & Wedge. The house perfectly met our needs. The ocean view is slightly obstructed with new construction, but waking up to ocean views each day really can't be beat!

Great New England Getaway!

Charming house with lots of room for family and friends! Lots of great touches like a piano, binoculars, games, and books! Kitchen is all setup for family meals! Hosts are excellent communicators and were super friendly!! Views of ocean and sunrise were great except for newly-constructed that partially blocks your views partially)

Perfect place with outstanding views

I cannot say enough positive things about our stay or hosts, Bill, Betsy & Ann. My family (5 of us) visited in July for 5 nights and were looking for a private, peaceful getaway on the ocean. The house is situated at the end of a quiet, private road. The space is clean and well equipped and absolutely perfect for a family vacation. Working WiFI too, which allowed us to take a few calls and meetings while there. We woke up each day and enjoyed coffee on the deck overlooking the ocean. Watching the plethora of wildlife, passing boats and kayakers was enough to keep us entertained for hours (they had binoculars at the house). We walked to town each day to grab breakfast, explore and shop. We are already prepared to book again for next year. Thank you for such a memorable stay!

Wonderful week in Rockport!

Our family and close friends are long time vacationers to Rockport Ma. We have stayed at several vacation rentals in the area, but our recent stay on Briarstone Rd. was the best! This beautiful home on a quiet road overlooking the Atlantic ocean, Thatcher island and the twin light houses was stunning. The four bedrooms upstairs and open floor plan was quite comfortable for our five guests. Two east facing bedrooms welcomed the morning sun rising over the ocean. A modern kitchen and adjacent dining room allowed our family to enjoy a quiet, comfortable at home experience for our breakfast meals. A small office, overlooking the deck was nice for catching up on a few emails. Rockport is a short walk or bike ride down the road. Just down the road is Loblolly Cove and Cape Hedge Beach, a big hit with the kids. We are looking forward to returning to this little gem on the ocean!

Perfect Rockport Get-Away

This house was perfect for my husband and I, as well as our two teens (12 and 14) and one set of grandparents. The view of the ocean from the back porch, large sitting room, and side yard is stunning - each morning we watched the waves as we sipped coffee and then enjoyed cool beverages on the porch after dinner. My husband did have some work to do during our stay, and used the study space for privacy (with a great view of the ocean too!). The bedrooms worked for us, with 2 rooms looking right out at the ocean. 70 degree days kept the house very comfortable, but window fans were provided for extra cooling at night. The house is in a very quiet area and felt very private. 1 mile from Rockport (walking distance), a 5 minute drive to Good Harbor Beach, 15-20 minute drive to Wingaersheek Beach. The hosts were lovely and shared the history of the house and the area with us during our stay. We will certainly consider this space again for next year's beach vacation! THANK YOU!!!!!

Lovely stay with lots of room and a view!

The home was very spacious, clean and well stocked. The view was beautiful! and despite the 'noreaster -LOL- we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rough seas were fun to watch while we remained cozy and warm. Would highly recommend!

Peaceful, relaxing place with ocean view

Our family of 6 had an amazing and memorable stay at this house for 5 nights in August. We enjoyed many moments just watching the ocean on the deck - from sunrises in the morning to a gorgeous full moon some evenings. The location was peaceful at the end of this private road. We made the short drive into town multiple times to shop, eat and enjoy the beach.

It's a wonderful spot on a rocky waterfront, but we must make it clear that RENTERS ASSUME ALL LIABILITY for any injuries on the property, especially walking down to our rocks and doing any activities there such as fishing, snorkeling or kayaking.
