As you enter you will be pleasantly welcomed by this elegant and spacious condo. The living area is open and inviting! Complete with large flat screen TV, window AC and convertible sofa for additional sleeping. The floor to ceiling sliding glass doors allow for indoor/outdoor living with private lanai. Take in the beauty of the lush grounds. Dine out doors with additional seating.

Kitchen has been nicely updated and is equipped with plate ware and utensils as well as all of the cooking items any chef would need. There is a perfect dining area for four to enjoy a quick bite or a full meal.

Primary bedroom features king bed for the perfect nights rest. Complete with flat screen TV, portable AC and en suite bathroom. There is an additional bathroom for guests with shower.

Stackable washer and dryer allow for lighter packing.

Kamaole Sands offers amenities for the whole family with a large pool, small children's wading pool, adult and family hot tubs, tennis courts, BBQ's, picnic areas and fitness center! Directly across from one of the best beaches on Maui, Kamaole III Beach!

What we saw in the listing and photos was what we found when we arrived. The decor felt fresh. The place was clean. The kitchen well equipped. The ACs were on when we got there, but we found the breezes enough to keep the place comfortable during our stay. Breakfast on the lanai is a favorite for our stays on Maui, but this unit is next to an access road for an adjacent complex so there was traffic noise. The place still gets 5 stars.

filter on front room AC need cleaning. It quit and my husband who is a maintenance manager for a 600 room lodge did the best he could to do so and got it working again but it was in a locked closet and he could not access it except through the slots on closet

October getaway

We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay at the resort. There was plenty of room for us and the ocean view was great. Loved seeing the beautiful sunsets from the beach, a short walk away. Also a short walk to restaurants and shops. The pool area at the resort was nice too.

The property and location were great! Unfortunately, the Maui weather during our stay was not... experienced heavy winter rains causing flash flooding and road closures which in turn caused our on-island adventures to be cancelled by the local horseback & volcano bike riding services.

Everything was lovely about the condo, very comfortable. I could have cooked any meal in the kitchen, so many pans, utensils, etc. Only complaint was the rooster that wanted to get the day going before the sun was even thinking of coming up--not the condo's fault.

Great spot but needs a few little things

This property was a nice place but would be 5 star if it included a few things that we are used to seeing in condos such as tinfoil, saran wrap, a few spices, a few condiments, a cutting board, etc. The listing did not say it had any of these things, but we have come to expect a few things to be left around. Would still stay again, though and the property managers made things easy.

Great time in Maui. Only issue was the TVs. One broke down and it took awhile to get remotes working as there were no instructions and the property managers never returned our calls for help. The was no Wi-FI Code in the room only a scanner card which did not work on our phone.

We would stay here again!

The unit was lovely! Bathrooms and kitchen have been updated. The master bath feels like an outdoor shower, and the kitchen update gives the living room an “open concept” feel. Super comfortable bed and AC in bedroom and living room (though with ceiling fans, we didn’t really need it). We love being located right across the street from the beach. Easy swimming and sunset watching are the best at Kamaole 3! Even though we felt safe enough not to use it, we were grateful for help programming our code into the safe. Extra peace of mind when it became clear that I was not going to get any work done, and could lock my iPad away, out of sight from myself! ;) Thanks for the wonderful stay in a clean and beautiful unit. We will be back! Mahalo!

A memorable week and Kamaole Sands, Kihei

What a great unit! Very comfortable and modern, spacious and basically clean (there were little ant type critters in bathrooms/kitchen - we know units are sprayed and it's hard to completely be free of them so no worry). The kitchen was super equipped with dishes and appliances but would have enjoyed a few extra supplies (spices, oils, baggies/Saran Wrap) on hand. It was quiet and the deck was nice with a small peek-a-boo look at ocean. Perhaps we didn't 'ask' the questions BUT it was disappointing that there were no beach chairs, etc. available as the outdoor closet on the deck was locked. At all other units we've rented we had access to those items. Fortunately, other family members in another building had extras for us to borrow. Overall, we definitely enjoyed our stay. Mahalo!

The condo is light with comfortable furnishings and a good king bed. I love that there were two bathrooms so we each used one and water pressure was terrific. Cooked for ourselves so it was helpful that the kitchen was well appointed. Every night we’d walk down to the Jacuzzi and then go to bed and sleep like little babies. We love the atmosphere of the property. Family friendly and laid-back, but very well kept. It was Dec. and the place was all dressed up for Christmas with lights on all the palm trees. The people we met there were repeat guests. We will definitely come back again. A great rental, and a wonderful vacation!

Kamaole Sands

I is not the first time we rented a condo in Kihei, HI. However, this property stood out among others. The condo is clean and most likely renovated recently. The bed is very comfortable even for my wife who is very picky sleeper. The kitchen has pretty much everything we need to cook any kinds of food. The view from lanai is great especially in the morning where on one side you can see the sunrise and the other side is the ocean. The washer and drier comes very handy if you need to do the laundry which we did for couple of times since we don't carry lots of clothes when we go on vacation. Having 2 bathrooms was great since both of us could take shower at the same time after coming back from the beach. It is also very conveniently located next to the Kamaole ||| beach and the Kihei boat ramp where dive companies start their tours (which is very convenient since I didn't have to wake up too early and drive) but not too close to the South Kihei road to hear the noise of the cars passing by. Overall, I love this location and the property.
